DO NOT STAY HERE! ANYWHERE BUT HERE
I came into town for three weeks to deal with my uncle’s estate. I booked this because it was relatively inexpensive and looked cute in the pictures. I love retro lodging.
The room was very small but OK for just me. The bathroom was so small I had to sit sideways on the toilet. No plug in the bathroom either! I had to style my hair in the main area. It was OK but I was really surprised there was no plug.
The worst part was the other clientele. Lots of hanging out in cars activity as well as cursing and yelling. Several smokers. I think these might be longer-term rentals. Not sure about that. Worst of all my head was right under the window so I could hear and smell everything as I was trying to sleep.
As a woman alone, I was scared to stay there.I had to secure other lodging it was so bad. So I lost two weeks (I did say ok to no refund when I booked) and they would not return anything even after I said I was afraid. They said I should’ve contacted the host with my issues. But, guess what? I was concerned about retaliation from other lodgers. I did not want my car to be damaged.
On the plus side the bed was very comfortable.
