Just the right amount of space for us. Plenty of parking. Fur babies loved the fenced in yard. We had a great time!Would suggest a hand rail to assist pool entry/departure and some type of labeling as far as water depth as far as safety features go.

Absolutely lovely home. Very clean in a nice neighborhood for walking and not far from the beach. A nice pool and fenced in yard for our dogs. Close to grocery, pharmacy and restaurants. Downtown St Augustine about 25 min away. Other areas for dining and shopping about the same driving time. David and Jen replied to messages quickly. Thank you for hosting us.

We had a great time staying at this house. The house was clean, spacious, and had a nice little pool to enjoy as well. The house was just a quick drive to a drive-on beach access, so we were able to get to the beach in about 5 minutes. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend!

This property was fantastic! It was clean, spacious, quiet and perfect for a ladies week-long vacation! David was great! He checked on us upon arrival to make sure everything was satisfactory and when we had a question, he was very quick to respond. As far as we are concerned everything about our stay at Tropical Winds was perfect! We would definitely recommend this property if you want to be close enough to St Augustine to enjoy the city but far enough away to relax and enjoy your downtime. Five stars all the way around!

We loved our stay at this location. Very quiet neighborhood with a pool and the beach less than a mile away. Downtown Saint Augustine is about 15 minutes away. Perfect spot for a quiet getaway.!

Nice vacation home

My and my family stayed for a week in this nice vacation home. Everything looked just like the pictures. The location was nice and really close to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything we needed for our stay. The backyard was very nice and fenced in which was great for our dog. The only cons were: 1) The floor was not cleaned when we walked in, i swept and mopped the floors and the water was black! I sent pictures to the owners, and they sent a cleaning person to clean the floors. The toilet in one of the bathrooms did not appeared to have been fully cleaned either, but since we disinfected all the bathrooms anyway we didn’t make a fuss about it. 2) The hot water in the showers was almost nonexistent, we had 2 toddlers with us and they hate cold showers so it was a bit of a problem for us. I mentioned it to the owner, but nothing was done about it. They just saw they never received complaints about it and to just check the brakes?? I really don’t think we should’ve been touching the brakes in a house we don’t own. 3) After a rainstorm, the pool had a lot of dirt in the floor, I asked if someone could clean it and the owner said to use the net provided. How do you even clean the dirt on the floor of the pool with a net? That should be done with a pool vacuum.Overall, a nice vacation home. But the people that manage the place should really listen to people’s concerns.

Great property

Property was perfect for our needs - adults and children 8-12. Pool was nice sized and crystal clear. Big covered porch and well supplied kitchen. Our owner responded quickly. Good experience.

Great Location

House was as described. Beach is literally a 10 minute walk or drive to end of the road, park vehicle in the small park and cross over the main road to the beach. Pedestrian crossing right there. 10 minutes to downtown St Augustine. Very quiet home at dead end street. This is a no frills house but had everything we needed. I would not want to stay here with more than 6 adults. We had 4 and it was very comfortable. Bedrooms were nice size and slept well. PoolIs not large but to get in and cool off it did fine. The back porch was nice but a few of us got biWent and got bug spray and seemed to work. So would recommend that. But was nice sitting out back over the pool. There are no tvs in the spare bedrooms. This didn’t bother us too much we were tired most days after sight seeing. So didnt watch too much television anyways.

Great home and location!

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect location to enjoy St. Augustine area and have a nice quiet retreat in the evenings. Our pup loved the freedom of a yard and we were very comfortable. The home has everything we needed and the hosts were excellent communicating with us! Hope to come back with our 3 kids next time. So much in the area our kids would have enjoyed too!

Amazing home away from home

My family and I stayed at Tropical Winds for my daughter’s Spring Break. It was my husband, daughter, mother-in-law, dog and myself. We felt right at home! The house is very well kept and has everything you need for your vacation. The beds are also very comfortable! The house is in a great location and you are still very close to historic St. Augustine. The beach is great and feels like your own private beach because it isn’t too crowded. You can park your car at the park and walk right across the street. The pool was perfect and my daughter especially loved staying at a house with a pool! My family and I are already planning on coming back!

Amazing stay - again!

This is our third time staying at this amazing property. It’s starting to feel like our home away from home. The location is perfect, the fenced in yard is amazing and the home is so comfortable. We will be back again soon!

Quiet peaceful get away

House is perfectly located on a dead street close enough to walk to the beach. If you don’t want to walk, no problem they have a great pool and huge back yard with a fire pit. Beds were very comfortable and house was clean and spacious. Check in and out was super easy and owners and property mgr on top of communication the whole stay. We will be back!

Toooo Short

Tropical Winds House was way better than I expected for a rental near the beach. I have rented many houses at the beach and this was the best maintained one I have ever stayed at. I am comparing this rental to rentals in the 10's of thousands for the week. WAY WORTH IT. The location was perfect.

Lovely stay!

Arrived at a very nice house that was clean and well kept. It is located in a neighborhood that is well kept and we had a couple neighbors say hello and welcome us. We felt very safe there. The inside of the house was clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom essentials that we would need to be comfortable. Furniture was nice and plenty of seating for large groups. The pool was clean and well serviced. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great stay

Super close to beautiful beaches. Could ride bikes there. Drivable beach access as well as beach parking minutes away. Great pool. Covered porch with ceiling fan gave nice break from sun and heat and rain storms! Property was clean and comfortable. The primary bed was better than mine at home. Property manager was really friendly and super responsive.

Excellent vacation rental!

This home was perfect for my family and I! The grandkids had fun in the pool and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the back porch! Having a fenced yard for the pup was a plus! The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware needed and there were plenty of towels and other necessities. We will be back!

Wind and Tide Review

We absolutely loved the location of the property!! Awesome and quiet neighborhood which is what we had in mind for the beach just a few blocks from the beach. Then you can hop in the car and be in St Augustine in minutes. It was the perfect set up for our family and pet and loved the beach decor in the home. Very nice with an amazing pool and deck!

Perfect get away!

Our family enjoyed this sweet space! The location was fantastic! Far enough from the chaos of the more crowded areas but still close and convenient to everything - we couldn't believe how perfect the location was! The house itself is set up very nice, well stocked and felt like home away from home for all of us! The pool was a welcome space to lounge at, as are the front and back deck areas. The fenced back yard made having our dog with us so enjoyable! Thanks for sharing your home - we truly enjoyed our stay!
