We enjoyed our stay in this charming 3 bed / 3 bath home. We booked it just one day before arrival after changing our minimoon plans due to inclement weather in California, and we were grateful this place was available. Its proximity to Old Town and the hot tub were the main reasons we chose it.Check in was slightly delayed, as the cleaners were still there, so we couldn’t enter until around 5 PM. After being awake since 3 AM for our flight, we were tired, but it wasn’t a major issue. The bigger hiccup was the hot tub. On our first night, it smelled overly chlorinated. By the next morning, the water had turned a bright yellow, something we had never seen. We reached out to the hosts and were told to add fresh water to balance it. While helpful, dealing with that took away from the charm of being on a minimoon. Throughout the stay, the water would tint yellow at least once a day, which made it clear the chemical balance wasn’t quite right. The backyard is spacious, but one section lacks privacy fencing, allowing a neighbor to see directly into the hot tub area. Adding tall plants or a small section of fencing would make a big difference. The home itself is lovely and exactly as pictured. We mainly used the master bedroom, which was comfortable with good airflow and quick-cooling AC. Communication with Glenn was easy, and he responded quickly.Despite a few quirks, we enjoyed our stay and would return.
