Great getaway near St Augustine

Property had a beautiful pool and a great boardwalk with easy access to the beach. Experienced several beautiful sunrises and the beach was never crowded. Short distance to the downtown attractions. Property was well maintained

Winter Vacation

Very nice property. Great beaches and St Augustine was just a short drive. The unit was very clean and comfortable, and the owners were very responsive with a couple of questions we had.

Perfect condo for our Annual Vacation!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay in this condo. We’ve stayed in many of the condos at Captains Quarters since the 80’s and the is is our families favorite spot. Everything is updated and clean and so many more special touches than some of the other condos. It was so nice to have a double bed and a twin bed in the second bedroom. We will definitely be booking for next year!!

Beautiful Beach Week

A beautiful beach week made perfect with an absolute 10+ condo. VERY clean, an easy walk to the beach, gorgeous sunrises on the balcony each day. David was an excellent host and responded promptly with answers to our questions. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future. The condo grounds were immaculate, and we loved the pool.

Fun place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Haven. Probably one of the cleanest places we have ever rented. Great communication with host and discounted activities were a nice perk. View out the window was awesome. We had a blast watching all the cars drive up the street then turn around once they realized they would have to drive on the beach!

Pre Holiday Get Away

We enjoyed our time staying in this condo. Prior to arrival we received messages with all of the information we needed to access the garage and unit. The condo was clean and comfortable. We did not utilize the kitchen much but from what I could see it had all things necessary to prepare a meal. We tried quite a few restaurants nearby. Our best meal was at Saltwater Cowboys which happens to be the closest restaurant. Spent an entire day in downtown historic St, Augustine seeing all of the sites and taking in the history of this city. In the evening the Christmas lights came on and I have to say it is one of the best light displays I have ever seen. I don’t have anything negative to say, we had a wonderful time. Only recommendation, and it’s not a big deal, we could not find the height of the garage anywhere in the description. With the outside parking available we weren’t too worried about it but our truck was too tall to enter the garage. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we really enjoyed our time there.

Very nice stay

Property was great and better than expected. Very clean and spacious. Would suggest adding a dust pan to sweep the sand brought in or some upright vacuum cleaner. Please also add a few more kitchen towels and hot pads and some plastic drinking cups. Thanks!!’

Amazing

Beach Haven was exactly as listed. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. I love that I received emails and text messages with property information. The condo was conveniently located close to a set of stairs and an elevator. We will definitely use this property again!!!

Best Week Ever

This property is the perfect vacation rental. Very clean, great location, family oriented, well stocked, property management thought of everything! Great pool, great access to the beach. Very secure. Great neighborhood! I can’t say enough about this place. We had the vacation of a lifetime!

Return trip, different rental unit

This is our 4th return trip to Captains Quarters and our first time staying in this unit. The rental was clean and updated. It had the minimum needed for a week long stay. We were provided the wrong beach gate code and were missing beach umbrellas. The rental owners said they would try and get an updated code and will drop off a beach umbrella. We never received the correct code from the rental owners and we couldn't go to the beach as a family because one person had to stay back to let us in the building. I was finally able to obtain it from someone else after several calls and several days. We had to buy our own umbrellas because none were dropped off. The only downside of the stay was the gate code. Otherwise it was a nice stay and a nice rental unit.

Perfect Vacation

This was our first vacation in St Augustine and Beach Haven did not disappoint. It was even more amazing as the pictures. Close to restaurants and downtown St Augustine. We had an amazing vacation and are ready to plan our return next year.

Very nice condo and complex!

We really enjoyed our stay! We definitely used the free attraction discounts which was nice! Our one complaint would be that the water pressure was weak. The complex was very quiet and very secure! We were worried about the condo being so close to the driving access to the beach but you would have no clue it was there. Beds were comfortable! We would stay here again!
