We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is the perfect place if you're visiting Vilano for a few days like we were. Comfortable home, plenty of space, and a huge bonus - just across the street from the ocean. There's public access right across Coastal Highway. Beautiful way to start your day or wind down your evening. John was a great host, very accommodating and hospitable!!

The house was close to the beach. Three balconies, a small deck on top of the house for viewing the sky, sunrises and sunsets, and nice-sized bedrooms. Very enjoyable time.

Fantastic Beach Getaway – Perfect Location and Impeccable Hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom beach house! Each bedroom having its own private bathroom was a huge plus, giving everyone in our group plenty of space and privacy. The home is thoughtfully designed with two comfortable living rooms equipped with internet TV, making it easy to relax after a day in the sun.The outdoor seating areas were a favorite spot—we loved enjoying our morning coffee and evening drinks outside. The high-speed internet worked flawlessly throughout our stay, which was great for both streaming and remote work.One of the best features is the unbeatable location—just steps from the beach and ocean, and only a 10-minute drive to historic St. Augustine with endless things to see and do. Plus, it’s just about an hour from Jacksonville Airport, making travel convenient.The host was exceptional—checking in to ensure everything was perfect and responding immediately when the iron needed replacing. Their attentiveness really stood out and made our stay feel seamless and welcoming.We highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a great coastal experience!

A perfect place for a family get together!

We had an amazing 3-night getaway at this home for our family reunion in St. Augustine—6 adults and one pup. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach path!The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. John, the host, was quick to respond and helpful with anything we needed.As a Travel Advisor, I’ll absolutely be recommending this property to my clients.Just a heads-up: all bedrooms are on the second floor, so it may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.

Vilano Beach

The house is in a great location for the beach. Just walk across the 2-lane Coastal Hwy. Rarely stand there over a minute waiting for an opening to cross. The house is good. My only issue was the inside spiral staircase. We were up and down it ALOT going to and from the kitchen and living room. One of my dogs also had an issue going up and down it. Overall great vacation.

A wonderful holiday stay

This clean, lovely beach house was the ideal size for our group of 4 adults, 2 children, and 1 pet. We all appreciated the separate sitting/entertainment areas on each floor, and most especially the 3 full bathrooms on the bedroom level. Having the beach just a few steps away was fantastic (although busy A1A does have to be crossed), and the river at the other end of the quiet street was nice for sunsets (also easy to view from the top deck). The changeable winter weather kept us from enjoying the outside decks and porches as often as we would have liked, but the house was very well supplied with books, puzzles, games, and 2 large TVs for rainy-day entertainment. There were also lots of beach toys that the kids had fun using (many sand castles were constructed). The home decor was coastal, comfortable, and pet-friendly. Most of the furniture had washable covers, and surfaces were easy to clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and having a full-sized washer and dryer was very convenient.Perhaps the only thing I might mention is that the house would be difficult for someone with mobility challenges because of the stairs. But we had a great visit and I would love to stay there again.

We stayed for 6 days, house was perfect. It was clean, had everything we needed. It is right across the street from the beach!! Plenty of decks and outdoor space. It was lovely!! We brought our lab with us and she loved it also!! Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Nice Beach Getaway ⛱️
