When we arrived, the code we received would not open the front door. After about 45 minutes we received a new code and finally gained access. That evening as we tried to take showers, we realized that there was no hot water. We contacted the owner and were told someone would be out promptly the next day. No one showed up until after 1pm, which was too late for us to start taking showers for the day as we had a family function to attend. When the owner realized that the hot water heater couldn’t be fixed (much later that day) they offered the use of another property to shower in only, which was extremely inconvenient. There were 9 of us that needed to shower and attend an event that evening and didn’t have time to shower at a different location one by one. We made a request at the end of stay to be refunded one day’s fee for the inconvenience we experienced. The owner came back with a half day refund (which didn’t include the owner service fee or house cleaning fee). We did not find this refund satisfactory and asked them to reconsider but they would not. We will not be using this owners properties in the future!
