It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. "Check in was easy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked down to a lobster pot to our delight.The setting is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the two level deck. There is a bit of a hike to get to the river. All and all a very peaceful relaxing location. We had 9 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable."

"If you’re looking for an authentic Maine experience, this is an AMAZING gem in the middle of a historic fishing village. Everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly. We went fishing with the captain who runs a fishing company just down the front steps of our home. Nearby Bath was the sweetest little town. We loved this peaceful place!"

"It was not easy to see where the rental was (we arrived in the dark and it's a somewhat fast speed road out in the country). Once we arrived, we saw that the camper was lit up - we just didn't know what to be looking for. But the owners instructions were clear and helpful. The climate control was a little tricky in the camper. But everything worked well and the accomadations were great - nice snacks, coffee, half and half, sugar, plenty of towels, etc. Everything was in nice shape. "

"As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. "
