"This was the perfect getaway. The cabin was well equipped and roomy. We started our mornings enjoying coffee on the deck and screened porch. The seclusion is exactly what we needed. The only thing we saw on the lake were two beautiful swans. We hope to return next year. "

"We had the most amazing time at Chuck and Sherry's. Our family will cherish their memories on the lake (the pontoon was an absolute blast), on the dock catching fish after fish, and watching the sun set over the beautiful lakefront view. They were amazing hosts - available whenever needed but leaving us to enjoy our stay as well. Getting to see some awesome horses was just icing on the cake. We're already booked up for a return next summer and can't wait. "

"Excellent overall, just as described in listing and other reviews. Great communication. We loved the deck, used the kayaks and grill and enjoyed the shared community park/picnic space. Neighboring properties are close but everyone was friendly, respectful, and the trees and lake still felt secluded. "

"We have stayed here once previously and really enjoyed the last time and this time. My daughter lives about 7 miles down Highway B. It is very convenient to drive to her house to visit her. We loved the clean cabin and its cozy atmosphere. Our host Colin contacted us through the VRBO website to make sure we had everything we needed. We also took our little dog Brody along as well. "Had a wounderful stay! Loved sitting out in the chairs and playing cribbage and just relaxing. Great location to walk or ride downtown. loved hitting the hayward and cable mtn bike trails.
