Cozy and delightful

Even though the weather was rainy/cloudy for our entire stay, we still had an amazing time. The cabin is nice and secluded so you really get to be surrounded by nature. We even had a family of owls visit the trees right off the deck one night.

Very nice and remote stay!

A very clean and quiet cabin! Had everything needed to make our stay pleasant including the cleanest grill ever. Contact with Manager and Owner was prompt even though the internet was spotty at best! Hopefully the internet will be more stable as resources grow in the area. Thank you for being pet friendly! We enjoyed ourselves and hope to return soon.

Serene, Secluded Getaway

The property is beautiful and perfect for time away from neighbors. Everything about the cabin has been updated and was clean for our arrival. We recommend this property for anyone wanting or needing to get away from the mundane hustle and bustle or daily life. We had a small issue during our stay but James was very responsive and eager to fix the problem. I believe this type of communication makes all the difference when staying at a rental. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. Also, they allow dogs and that was a major contributing factor when we were choosing a rental property.

Fabulous cabin in a fabulous location

10/10 all around!! The cabin itself has a gorgeous and spacious interior. The location is secluded and the views are beautiful, even off season. Cozy outdoor firepit overlooking the lake, along with a cozy fireplace inside for the chilly nights. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need and even has fun board games to play. Host was so accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!

Cozy Lake Getaway

We had a lovely weekend watching deer in the woods and the sun shining over the frozen lake! So quiet with all the comforts of home - the kitchen was well stocked and the fireplace was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Perfect Winter Weekend

This was a perfectly secluded spot for our winter weekend excursion and the cozy cabin provided fireplace warmth from the cold. We immediately felt at home as every detail was carefully considered from the furnishings to the amply stocked kitchen with plates, utensils and glassware for any style of cooking and imbibing. We explored the outdoors with our 3-year old Labrador Retriever who loved every minute of running and playing ball up and down the long driveway, and bounding through the snow on the frozen lake while we snowshoed. This was by far one of our best VRBO experiences - thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us! J, T & J

Always A Pleasant Stay

We return to this place once or twice a year. It's the perfect size for the two of us, but room for more with the finished basement. It's secluded enough to get away from everything, but close enough to downtown Hayward to pop in for a bite or cocktails (We recommend Out Of The Woods Winery). The cabin is pet friendly, which is a must for us. We'll keep coming back.

Very Nice

Upon driving up and walking in the cabin it was very well done. The cabin was clean and inviting. We even got some snow which made it even more picturesque. I would recommend this cabin to all that want to get away for a relaxing time in the north woods. Thanks again Jim for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Nice Respite

Beautiful cabin on a sweet little lake. Very remote. I spent the weekend with just my pup. Great place, decorated perfectly, very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. If you need to get way from all the noise of the world, this is your place!

Beautiful secluded getaway

What an AMAZING property! Just the perfect quiet, restful and cozy cabin. We had such a great time having campfires, exploring the area and relaxing. Jim is a great host and the listing describes what to expect exactly. The cabin is well stocked and very clean. The drive in makes you feel like you are out in the wilderness, yet you are close to town for activities.

Home away from home

Wonderful as always. The setting is just blissful. The cabin is well appointed and the decor is very cool. We love the seclusion and the quiet. We love it like it’s our own! The Hayward area is interesting and very convenient. Jim responds quickly and kindly to all of our questions and Donna is so kind and helpful too! We are so thankful that Jim has made this beautiful property available for us to enjoy.

A beautiful property and well designed cabin! My husband and i enjoyed our stay. The cabin is well decorated comfortable and well furnished. There was no possibility of fishing or kayaking due to the lack of a safe pier and water levels which was disappointing. We love the Hayward atea and enjoy our time together every year!with e
