Excellent location, it’s a short walk (some uphill - wear a sturdy shoe) from free parking. There is easy access to hiking trails - a beautiful hike along the aqueduct to Collepino and back to Spello, and a trail to Assisi. We had a bit of rain so didn’t get to do the Assisi hike. There are good restaurants and bars a short walk into the city center. Cantine di Spello was a highlight- make a reservation in advance. The apartment is just as described and the view from the terrace is stunning. There is an outer street door to unlock before proceeding down a ramped walkway to the apartment. It felt very secure inside this area. The apartment is equipped with everything needed for either a quick stop or a long stay. The owner has helpful hints posted around the place - helpful reminders for using appliances and such.I was confused about the checkout- it says final cleaning included but we should clean the bathroom and kitchen. It may have been a translation error on my part. My only suggestion is to wear sturdy shoes - the stone outside of the apartment door was slick with moss - I slid a few times when wearing a block heel boot to go to dinner.
