"We received wonderful hospitality from Steve and janice.the property was spotless and tastefully decorated, quality of breakfast was first class and hot which is very important to me faultless,our hosts were incredible helpful and welcoming and went that extra mile to make sure all our needs were met . would highly recommend this residence and on our next visit to Torquay we will definitely be staying here again

"Was in Torquay for a week at a Christian conference in the riviera centre. The guest house was 5 minutes walk away so really convenient.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of cooked choices. There was also cereals which I never managed as the cooked was large enough to see me till dinner time.
Jonathan was a good host.
The guest house was very clean and well kept, a sign that the owners took pride in the service they gave.
Would definitely recommend. "

"Staff were all really nice, especially Ava our waitress. She went above and beyond.
However there were a couple of waiters who did disappoint us. One forgot to put our breakfast order through, although he did apologise to us. The other one just seemed to ignore us and I had to go and ask at reception for a menu.
Reception staff were all very friendly and polite.
Overall would definitely go back there again "

"When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room.
Breakfast was average of poor quality."
