Very welcoming owners on arrival, we booked a family room which was spacious and suited our needs as we spent most of the time out exploring the area. Breakfast is great with good quality items. We found it to be a nice relaxing environment. Would definitely stay here again if we returned to Torquay

We had a lovely stay here. Julie and Gary are lovely people. The breakfast was definitely a highlight- scrummy! It is close enough to walk into town. We didn’t get to use the pool, as the weather was poor, but it looks great. This is an older style hotel, but perfect and has everything you need for a fab stay! We will be back if we are in Torquay again x

Friendly staff, good location, full hot English breakfast, clean and tidy room. Bar available in the hotel, open pool enough to enjoy a couple of hours of sunbathing. Town centre is 20 min by walking, nearest beach is 10 min bu walking.

We had a long weekend in Torquay and stayed at the Nethway Hotel. The hotel is great value, especially with the included breakfast and free parking. There is also a very personal service, with the owners Julie and Gary super helpful with ideas for dinner or places to see. The hotel is also in a great location for walking to the town, beach or marina so it was nice to leave the car parked up and take a break from driving whilst we were there. Looking forward to our next visit!

the breakfast was excellent hot frest cooked ,friut juice, ceareals ,tea , coffee .staff was frindly and very helpfull .room was very clean .it was only a short walk to the bus stop and the beach , the park and the shops .we found it a very good place to stay .

Julie and Gary were absolutely lovely and super helpful. They helped heat up milk for our little one and were friendly the hole time. I would say I think personally found the mattresses slightly uncomfortable, may be a preference. The only true negative, so the reason it was not 5 stars for us was the shower was weak, so couldn't just stand underneath it, had to hold it over the body part to clean. Aside that, amazing place, lovely people! Thank you both.

Excellent hotel to stay in. Initially booked just for a bed, as wasn't planning on staying in the hotel through the day. Instead, we got excellent service, delicious breakfast, reasonally priced drinks at the bar and a cool pool to relax in. The staff are extremely polite and very friendly. They will help with any request and always aimed to make us feel welcomed during our stay. Definitely booking again if we are heading to Torquay again.

Owners Julie & Gary are friendly and ever present. It feels more like a B&B than a hotel in that respect. We used it as a quiet base for day trips in and around the area and it is in a good location for that. We had a family room and it was split into two creating a seperate space for the children rather than just having all the beds next to each other like a lot of places do. Its an old building with all the character that comes with it like high ceilings and creaky floorboards underfoot but we didn't hear the other guests when we were in our room and it was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals, juices and a cooked breakfast made to order. The only downside was that the cooked breakfast didn't come with black pudding. Despite the black pudding scandal we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely make Nethway Hotel our base again the next time we visit Torquay,

A lovely stay at this hotel room was very clean very dated but what you get for the star of this hotel is very good. The location is spot on the staff are amazingly friendly. Breakfast is super just a very old dated building. Definitely worth the money.

Julie and Gary are the most friendliest, helpful hosts. Nothing is too much for them, they definitely go out of their way for you and make you feel welcomed. Breakfast was a delicious cooked full English that definitely filled us up for the morning. We stayed in a double standard room which was just perfect for what we needed- which was a good night sleep and the bed was very comfy! The beer and draft local cider from the bar was crisp and tasty! The outdoor pool is an amazing perk - with the weather being so hot, it felt like we were abroad! Great location- just a short walk to the beach and harbour. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you Julie and Gary. Love Carla & Jack x
