Had a great time in this beautiful house

Peaceful and Perfect

We had a terrific week! The house is open and spacious. The peaceful location was so relaxing. My son loves crabbing and we caught quite a few keepers off the dock! Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful time on Green Hill Pond. Kevin is very responsive. The home is exactly as described and pictured. It is a bit tricky to park at the beach hence the 4 stars for location but there many beach options nearby.

Relaxing Stay at Green Hill Pond

Four friends enjoyed a wonderful week in this well appointed home. Despite the rain, we had a wonderful time relaxing in the open space kitchen, dining, and living areas and the covered deck. Kayaking was a daily favorite. Easy trips to Newport, Narragansett, and Watch Hill kept us busy. Located near many local beaches and restaurants. Great home for rain or shine activities.

Gorgeous and relaxing spot

The deck (really more of an outdoor living and dining room) was the central gathering and relaxing spot during our week. Beautiful views at every time of day. Excellent kitchen for cooking and gathering. House was very generous and comfortable. We had a great week!

Great Family getaway

Lovely property with extra's where you want them. Multiple decks with spectacular views, bathroom in each bedrooms, a great kitchen that open to the large family room. Started the day with coffee watching the sunrise and ended it with wine watching the sun set.

Relaxing and comfortable stay

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Very comfortable bedroom/bathroom suites, great kitchen for cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner, and easy check-in/check-out. Kevin was very responsive to my messages and gave me all the info we needed to be comfortable at the house. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

Wonderful Week

Beautiful home and area. Ideal location with decks overlooking green hill pond and a short paddle or ride to the beach. We spent a day on the water with the last boat rental of the season from Matt at Ocean House marina down the road. We slept well, prepared nice meals with the fully supplied kitchen, and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kevin.

Rhode Island respite

Beautiful house on Green Hill Pond

A beautiful house with wonderful water views. Right on Green Hill Pond; plentiful and varied birdsong. We highly recommend renting a boat to access the private barrier beach on the ocean, a very brief ride straight across. Nice for kayaking-the house had four, singles and doubles. Owner's communication excellent. Currently, pond bacteria levels prohibit swimming. A great choice.

Wonderful home!

Great house for a relaxing getaway !

The house is beautiful with amazing views of the bay. The area is very pretty with lots of great restaurants within a short drive, and the nearby beach is absolutely beautiful. The house is cozy, well decorated and very well equipped with anything you might need for a comfortable stay. There are also kayaks for the whole family to enjoy. Communication was easy and check-in was super simple. We highly recommend it !!

Hidden GEM - Amazing Host and Home!!

Wonderful "Staycation"

We are from RI and absolutely loved our time at this house. My wife and I rented with two other couples and we all had plenty of space. Very clean and the location is perfect! I highly recommend renting a boat to access the beach. We look forward to renting again someday!

Family vacation retreat

We rented this house for a week away with our family and our friends family. We all had a a fantastic week. Kevin’s information about the home and places to go or things to do were extremely helpful. Our families loved relaxing in the house on the deck each morning and late afternoon, taking a boat to the beach every day, shopping at the local market for dinner, and just enjoying the gorgeous lake views. Even our one rainy afternoon was nice because we so enjoyed being in the house. We explored the neighborhood, went on great bike rides, enjoyed the lake - kayaking, fishing and of course the beach! We all had a great time!

Our entire family, including our grandchildren, thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful and charming home!

This glorious, beautiful, charming and spacious home was perfect for our Rhode Island family vacation. We loved having our rental pontoon boat rides, and adventures on the owner's fabulous kayaks along with our rental paddle boards! The private beach was a daily highlight for all of us! We really loved all of the outdoor living spaces!! Our mornings on the dock catching crabs was a favorite family activity! The views of the water and ocean were breathtakingly beautiful! Kevin's communication and phenominally helpful recommendations of restaurants/activities were such a gift to us. However, having to personally purchase and bring our bath towels and beach towels were quite costly and very inconvenient due to the fact that we were flying in from out of state. It would also have been better if the air conditioning was even throughout the house. The AC never reached the main level bedroom off the kitchen, and and lowest level bedroom AC unit was difficult to adjust as the room was either stuffy or freezing. Additionally, the kitchenware was not equipped for little children. For example, there were no plates, cups or silverware appropriate for toddlers (almost everything was breakable). All in all, our family built so many special memories in your home, and we are forever grateful to have spent a lovely week together on your spectacular property! We also loved exploring Newport and the Ocean House in Watch Hill. Rhode Island has beautiful scenery, charming homes, incredible waterfront and unbelievable sunsets.

Slice of Heaven on Green Hill Pond

Truly a 5 star experience, from gorgeous house, spectacular views and beautiful, quiet location. Access to the lovely beach across the pond is easy and can be done with included kayaks or a skiff rental. Personally, we would recommend a boat If you like to bring a lot of stuff to the beach like we do. One morning we had breakfast on the beach, another night we did cocktails and sunset. And we spent many days just enjoying the solitude and the surf. If you are looking for more action on the beach, there are many state park or town beaches nearby. We liked East Matunuck and the South end of Scarborough. There are many great restaurants within about a 20 min drive (highlights for us - Matunuck Oyster Bar and the Veranda at the Ocean House - reservations well in advance are a must!) The Ocean House also hosts lobster and movie nights on the beach. We did the movie night with our kids. Very fun!! Our favorite thing though was just hanging at the house on the main deck or the master bedroom deck. Gorgeous for coffee, sunsets, anytime. The house is light-filled and very spacious. Fantastic for a group. The pictures provided are very accurate, but they really can’t capture how special the space is. We can’t thank Kevin and family enough for answering all of our questions, making great recommendations and providing us with a wonderful vacation. We loved this home so much, we would replicate it down to the last detail if we were to ever build a coastal home.
