"No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund. "

"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. "We had a fantastic stay here whilst attending a wedding nearby. The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area. The entire house was very well kept and we would highly recommend staying here - thank you!"
