Lovely Home

Everything about the home was great - stocked with the basics but the owners went above and beyond by having so many games, movies and beach toys on hand. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for hanging out and cooking. It is a short walk/golf cart ride to a beach but it is a very small public beach. I recommend renting the golf cart to go a little further to North Beach where there is plenty of space. Community pool was clean and large - a great option for those who want a break from the lake.

Family Fun South Haven

Fun Haven was just what we hoped it would be. A house with family friendly amenities, a community with pools and a quick drive to the North Beach. Our family of grandparents, parents and children enjoyed our stay.

Great time at the Fun Haven house

6 adults and 3 kids under 3. Fabulous house open concept. Very clean and well stocked with toys Steps from the new pool. Super responsive owners. A wonderful week for our family!!!

Great getaway

Nice place, nice neighborhood. Houses are a bit close, but no issues. Lots of things to do nearby. Pool was great, hot tub was nice but could have been warmer. It’s a neighborhood thing, so no control of that. Golf cart was great for going to the beach. Would return.

Wonderful weekend!

This house was amazing and you can't beat the location! It was close to everything! The decor in the house was modern and it was very clean. We loved using the golf cart and the hot tub was great too! We loved everything and can't wait to come back!!

Let it snow!!

Our family gathered here for three nights. Wonderful accommodations. Well stocked kitchen with cookware and plates. Loads of games to play and toys for little ones to use. Beds were comfy and plenty of space for 12people.

Great multi-generation Labor Day weekend getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our multi -generation weekend getaway at this South Haven home! What really set this home apart from other VRBO's we've stayed at in the past was the quality of furnishings, linens and touches. It seems like they really put a lot of thought and care into the pieces the owners have selected for the home. The location was great- a quick golf cart ride to the beach, pool or downtown area. We loved the neighborhood so much! Our aunt has mobility challenges and the first floor den worked great for her to sleep in! She said the pull out couch was a "dream". The owner was kind and responsive! We will definitely be back.

Kitchen (knives, frying pans, microwave light needs improvement). Trash receptacle not large enough for 2 weeks of recycle materials. A little further to beaches than we had thought. Nearness to meijers good. Good laundry facilities. Grill side table non-working. Dining room nice size. Bathrooms great. Master suite super. Instruction about bed checkout status confusing.

Our Family Experience (was in the house's name) FUN Haven!!

Great home for either a quick extended weekend or vacation! Conveniently located to the beaches and downtown South Haven. The option to rent the golf cart on site with all beach/entertainment amenities provided, this home offers it all! Once the 2nd pool (in the subdivision) is completed just 50 yards away, this will be the prime location. The Owner - Russ was Outstanding! Very responsive and willing to assist. We highly recommend Fun Haven for your next trip!

Family vacation 2023

The house was wonderful. It accommodated all 12 of our family members. We enjoyed all the extra amenities the house offered. The only downside was the every other week recycle pickup. We were on the off week, so we had half the can filled from the previous renters. By the time our week was done the can was totally full so now the next renters will have a full can until Monday. Overall it was a great week.

Great place for families

The house was great for our group of 10. We opted to use the golf cart for the week, which was great for getting to the beach and downtown. We also enjoyed the extra amenities included in the rental - games, toys for the kids, video games, paddle boards and kayak. One downfall was that 3 rooms had to share a bathroom - obviously we knew this going into it, but it was a bit harder than we imagined going into it. Great rental!

Our accommodations were great. The house was at a good location for riding our bicycles or golf carts to the beaches, kids park, down town area, bike paths, restaurants, shopping and the marina. Our family vacation was awesome and so enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental home. The owner was available for any needs or questions. We definitely would come again!

Many Memories Made

We had an excellent time at Fun Haven despite the cold and rainy weather. The home is beautiful and was the perfect size for our family. We played many games and had many laughs. The golf cart was nice to have during our stay but only got to use it maybe 3 days because of the weather. I would recommend Fun Haven to anyone looking to have an enjoyable vacation which is close to the beach!!

LOVED Funhaven! Oct 2022

Traveled with my sister, 2 nieces and 2 children (age 2 and 1.5 mos) for a long weekend getaway. Loved the lake themed decor! House was just as described and pictured. Clean, tons of space, all the amenities, good location, everything cared for. Childrens toys a plus! Kept out 2 yr old busy the entire time. Although the weather was a bit of a bummer (cold, rain), the big living and kitchen area allowed us to hang out, binge on a Netflix series, drink the wine we purchased from local wineries and cook a bunch of food in comfort and with all the necessities. Gas grill was a plus! Beds were super comfy with lots of space for our crew. We didn’t even need the room with the bunk beds. Very nice to have the washer/dryer upstairs. Great for a family or multiple friends getaway. Would love to come back in the summer and take advantage of all the beach toys and supplies that they had to offer. No complaints. I’d definitely stay here again!!

House has everything!

This house was really a fun haven! Had a whole game and toy room for our little ones. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need: towels, coffee, laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo, etc. The house was also very clean. We will be back.
