A great place to stay in South Haven

There were only 4 of us so we had plenty of space in this two-story house. Having 3 bathrooms was wonderful. We had space to spread out, but good gathering spaces to get together. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner here, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked for our needs. The basement ping-pong table was great. And the beds were some of the most comfortable ones we've encountered in a rental house. We could have used more reading lights in the living room, but that's a minor quibble.

Great getaway

Aside from a lot of dust on furniture, cobwebs, debris on the floor upon entering, the place was comfortable. We appreciated the many bonuses that came with the property, including all the games! We would definitely stay again, but improvements such as fixing the dishwasher should be taken care of.

Family friendly and a great location

We were very pleased by all the ways the hosts anticipated our needs and provided for them. We had toddlers, young adults and senior citizens for a special family weekend and everyone was comfortable. There was a lot for our little grands to enjoy while the adults got to relax and watch them enjoy themselves.

Ideal vacation Spot

This place is perfect for larger family gatherings. It is a three-block walk to the center of Soth Haven. The beach is a six-block walk or a short car ride. The house is equipped with everything you need.

Nice place to stay

Nice house with plenty of space. It was clean and close to the beach. Communication was good with the property management company. Dishwasher was broken, but we were told before our arrival that it wouldn’t be fixed and they provided extra paper plates and towels. The downside was the upstair’s rooms were hot even with the box fans provided. Also, the steps on the front porch was dry rotted and not safe to walk on. We always entered from the back. The price was good for the accommodation. Thanks!

Great place for families

Great property eith responsive property managers. We were walking distance to everything we needed. 3 adults and 4 kids had more than enough room to spread out. Dushwasher was broken but they provided extra paper plates and dish soap.

Good for families

We stayed here with my family including my two toddlers and had a very good experience. The playroom is so helpful with little kids and they even provided toys and games which we really appreciated! The house also had a high chair and boosters, and beach toys, chairs, games, etc. which was awesome. The backyard and front porch are great spots to sit outside with coffee or have dinner while the kids run around too. The house has a few quirks as all the old houses in the area do but overall we had a great experience and would stay again! About 10 min walk to beach or downtown too.

Truly an oasis

We thoroughly enjoyed ouselves due to the v comfort and location of this house. It was beautifully decorated and included any amenity you coud think of. The numbers of rooms and spaciousness of the house was grestly appreciated by all. Would love to stay here again.

Mostly loved…

The house was lovely, the location was great… the door on the top floor leading outside to a landing without any rails and a lock on the outside, was weird and scary with small kids. The management company did come out and put a new lock on, but the owners were upset by this?! It was strange and made my wife very uncomfortable. Other than than, we loved our stay. The amenities the house supplied for kids was perfect and you really couldn’t beat the location and the quiet area.

Summer Rental Test

Our family has grown in the last 2 years, and a 4th bedroom is now required. 4 of us spent the weekend in Blue Oasis to see if it met our new requirements. It met the requirement for 4 bedrooms and the bonus was the 3 extra spaces for play areas for the 2 young granddaughters. Overall, there is so much more space than the place we have rented the last 3 years. A big plus was the dining room space, no one had to get up from the table to let others get out of their seats. We already booked the place for our annual August South Haven Blueberry Fesitval Week.

Amazing

The house was amzing it had everything we needed... the price was great which made me leary but the house was perfe t... there were 12 of us total and all of our freinds and family were able to come to us to visit... the house had everything we needed... the location was great also close to everything but not in the middle of chaos we also could walk to the beach and the garage was full of bikes and toys...

Family reunion

We searched awhile before we picked this place for 8 adults and a toddler. I guess I read about all the bikes and vacation gear in the garage, but there was everything we needed to supplement what we brought. Definitely recommend staying here.

Massive house. Nice sized yard. Perfectly appointed. We wanted for absolutely nothing. Everything you could possibly need was there. Would definitely stay again. Perfect for large groups/families.

Great family home!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything our crew needed to have a great time. We had adults, teens and younger kids in our group and everyone had a wonderful time. We would definitely come back!

Family & Friend get-together

This house was PERFECT for the 12 of us. More than enough room in the driveway for everyone traveling across state! Beds everywhere!! The kitchen was stocked with anything you could need to cook and tidy up! We will be back next time we are in the area!!!!

Good location, big house but horrible upkeep

Pros: huge house with sizable main floor and upstairs. Lots of amenities such as board games, bikes, and beach toys/wagon. Location is great - 4-6 blocks to the beach and downtown South Haven. Cars can be parked in the two car garage. Cons: House is not maintained well and the property management company is not very responsive. The ping pong table in the basement had water stains and was rusted over - it literally collapsed during our stay and nearly crushed my two year old. The upstairs toilet handle needs to be fixed - water kept on flowing into the tank. The basement bathroom floor grout is filled with mildew and the shower door is broken. The list goes on…. The property manager, when we called to ask for more kitchen garbage bags (because only one kitchen garbage bag was provided for a four-day stay), told us that the renter needs to supply garbage bags. This is what happens when the owners leave their property to be managed by a third party. We vacation at South Haven for the past five years and this was by far the worst house. We will not be going back to this house. The owners should replace the property management company.

Didn't want for anything

Lots of room in this house! We found we brought some things that we didn't even need to because the house was thoughtfully stocked, from a pack 'n play and high chair to lots of beach stuff in the garage to use. We enjoyed our week here!

2021 SH stay

The property was very large, layout very nice, the house had everything in it and lots of extras in the garage to make the stay at the beach perfect! The location is good for those who want to visit town just as much as the beach and the enclosed yard was superb for families with children. The only question mark was the property across the street where there was a large gathering, a fistfight, and the police called.
