GREAT LOCATION - GRAND OLD HOTEL. THE RECEPTION AREA, DINING AREA FROM ANOTHER ERA. THE ROOMS ARE A BIT DATED ALTHOUGH CLEAN. THE STAFF SUPER HELPFUL AS WELL AS FRIENDLY. I WOULD STAY AGAIN.

This is a beautiful hotel built in the late 1800s. It features great and rich designs, however, it has seen it's better days, and needs some maintenance. At the time of the stay the AC wasn't working, and the SPA was closed. However stay was still pleasant overall.

Nice historic property
Great spot, lovely historic hotel with nice large lobby and breakfast room. Super friendly staff. Good gym area. We were right across from the Christmas market, close to fire tower and museums. I had a large bathroom with tub. I was very happy with this it was a great value.

This was like a dream of princess for my wife to stay in this luxury hotel. Decors are amazing, room ceilling is very high. This is life in a castle. Very recommended.

Gammelt hotell, med ubehagelig lukt ved inngangen. Rommet luktet også gammelt, sikkert pga. gamle tepper på gulvet. Badet manglet en dusj, hadde kun et badekar som ikke kunne brukes som dusj. Gode senger, men elendig frokost.

Disappointing
Does not present like a four star hotel. Grand facade, fancy old building, mediocre inside and amenities. Very hard mattress, lumpy pillows, thin, old towels, no coffee in room, and you have to ask for services at the reception. Excellent location and friendly staff.

Freundliches Personal, obwohl wir die Landessprache nicht beherrschen. Zimmer und Bad sind überraschend groß, die Tiefgarage günstig und die Altstadt ist gleich gegenüber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A 10 min walk from station. The Entrance & hallway very grand . Our room was clean & comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast .Sopron is a lovely town to explore

Geraeumige Zimmer & sehr freundliches Personal
Die Begruessung war sehr freundlich, der Receptionist spricht Ungarisch, Deutsch, und Englisch. Er bot uns sofort einen Kaffee an, und half uns, ein schoenes Kaffeehaus im Ort zu finden. Das Zimmer war sehr geraeumig, sogar ein zweites WC, und ein Balkon. Das Hotel ist recht gross, hat eine Dachterasse, und laesst eigentlich keine Wuensche offen. Was wir nicht wussten, es gibt einen Zahnarzt vor Ort, der sogar kostenlose Untersuchungen anbietet, perfekt fuer Medizintourismus (den wir jedoch nicht gemacht haben). Sorpon (Oedenburg) ist ein sehr schoener Ort mit einer schoen renovierten Altstadt, lohnt sich fuer einen kleinen Wochenendausflug.

Definitely would recommend this beautiful hotel
A classic, old-World hotel with gorgeous entrance and well-maintained public, common spaces. Good size rooms for a European hotel. Was fine for me, but very picky people might want a little more renovation in the rooms themselves.

Gute Lage im Zentrum von Sopron. Freundliches Personal. Das Hotel wird gerade etwas renoviert, davon bekommt man aber nur wenig mit. Die Einrichtung ist auch schon etwas älter, aber noch in Ordnung.
