Life in wine country
If you ever wanted to get a sense of what it is like to live in wine country, this is the place. The views are beautiful. It's quiet, private, and a great house - love the open layout with the kitchen and living room. In the late afternoon/sunset time, we would relax on the back patio. There are some nice amenities as well. Highly recommend!

Great central, but quiet location
The property is beautifully located with lovely views of the countryside and right between Solvang and Los Olivos. The house is very well equipped with everything you need to make meals, comfortable beds and well stocked bathrooms. The host was welcoming and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Property
We celebrated my husband’s 32nd birthday in the Santa Ynez Valley. This was a wonderful place to stay while enjoying wine country. My toddler loved the property and exploring the pond. I would definitely stay here again.

Wine Tasting
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Located hilltop with a great view. Quiet and private, yet within 5-10 minutes of wineries, stores etc. Home had everything you needed for your stay. The owner Kris was great to work with. Would definitely stay and highly recommend to others.

Great location!!!
We drove up the coast for a golf trip with another couple, trying to avoid El Niño rains late December - March. Wouldn't you know we were rained out anyways!! That being said, we spent most of our time enjoying this great house. It was perfect for our group and we enjoyed the cozy living area and fireplace while watching movies. The house was very well equipped and the host was super responsive. The location is great for wineries, restaurants and golf! Thanks for a lovely visit.

Great escape in the Santa Ynez Valley
This is a well maintained property with good views. Kitchen area is well designed and easy to navigate. The living room has a comfortable large couch and there is additional group seating on the back patio as well. Garage has a fun foosball table and darts for guests to use. Don't miss out on all the great birds and the bunnies!

Lovely and private
Peaceful with nice views, comfy beds, near to attractions. Pros: location for wineries, Solvang, well-kept, clean, roomy. Kitchen was stocked. Cons: none, really. There's a whole house fan (but we didn't know so used the AC one day). Great communication. We recommend highly.

Could not have been better
We truly enjoyed our stay. Complete accuracy on the description. Things were even better, particularly the morning noises during coffee on the patio. Tractors in the distance, goats, cows, not disturbing by any means. Just right sitting in the sun.

Mountain Paradise
We loved staying at this fully upscale home. It had everything needed to feel at home while away. The entire home was fully equipped, comfortable, and in a perfect locations… literally 10 minutes from great restaurants and quaint towns. It was very private and while sitting outdoors we saw falling stars. Perfect location and very comfortable. As good (better) than it gets!

Great stay!
The house was clean, roomie and had an ample amount of amenities. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable with TVs and blackout blinds. Open concept kitchen/living room was spacious with an island to belly up to which is great for entertaining. Covered, comfortable back patio with great views and fruit trees a stones throw away. Great for morning coffee and pastries and evening pizza (Ginos) and wine. Perfect location near Solvang, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, vineyards and other great places. The owner (Kris) is very accommodating.

Wine country home away from home
We were so pleased with this property. The location is convenient to Santa Ynez, Solvang, and Los Olivos, making it easy to explore and easy to get back to rest between activities. The house is perfectly appointed, and the back yard is so peaceful. Great stargazing, too! I will definitely be back.

We stayed here for three nights while wine tasting in the Santa Ynez area. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped with lovely views and good proximity to the lovely town of Ballard (one mile away). We prepared two meals and the kitchen and grill both held up well. The host was courteous and efficient. Would recommend highly.

VALENTINES GETAWAY
We try to come to the area every year with our friends and have stayed in this lovely home several times and love it so much. The area has such great wine tasting and vineyard experiences along with a number of really good restaurants. The only thing I would say as a suggestion is that it's probably time for new mattresses in the bedrooms. We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our 3 nights at this beautiful gated community. The house is clean, comfortable and has Everything you need. The only thing missing was a third bathroom, only because we were 3 couples. We would definitely rent this home again should we come up with one other couple. The property, location, and views were amazing. It was definitely a great find!

Perfect Solvang Getaway!
This property is so special - it's the perfect house for a weekend getaway in wine country. The house itself is so charming and the view of the vineyards is breathtaking. You can't beat the location either! Close enough to everything to be easy, but secluded enough to not feel like you're on top of anyone. Kris made the whole process a breeze. We'll definitely be back!

Peaceful and Serene
This is a beautifully appointed home in the middle of a winery with all the amenities you would need. There are comfortable beds, plenty of dinnerware, glasses and flatware. And visits by the pups, Rocco and Ozzy were a welcome treat. We look forward to our next visit.

10 year anniversary get away
We had an amazing time staying at this lovely property for our 10 year anniversary. The house exceeded our expectations and had all the accommodations we needed to enjoy ourselves. Kris was a great host, and was easy to get a hold of if we needed anything, and a pleasure to chat with. The property is beautiful and the pond was a nice little treat for a sunset romantic drink at the end of the day. All the utilities are high end, beds are comfortable, the AC works great (It was super hot this week, in the triple digits) and very close proximity to vineyards and tasting rooms, and good restaurants near by. Unfortunately for us, it was too hot to take advantage of the bikes in the garage, otherwise we would have rode to the winery just down the road. Overall, this is a very nice home to get away and have some peace and quiet in the country side....very romantic! We'll be back!!

Great house and location
The house was just as advertised. it is clean and comfortable. it has everything anyone needed to relax and cook some meals. it is centrally located in the valley with short drive to town and wineries. The owner was very nice and communication was easy and clear. And, it also came with a greatf friendly guard dog :) The only thing I would suggest is somehow find a way to shut off the motion lights in the backyard. Star gazing in the Santa Ynez Valley is a wonderful relaxing activity after dark with a great glass of wine in hand.

It was so nice & calming!! House is beautiful & the property all around. We really enjoyed our time!
Great location & a very nice house. It felt very private. We wanted to relax & that’s just what we did!! Beautiful views & the back patio was the perfect place in the mornings to just enjoy the views & nature. We brought our kids (age 5 & 9) and they also had fun & enjoyed each of their rooms. Amazing spot in the center of wine country
This place is a hidden gem behind the Rideau Estate. Immaculate rental with all the comforts of home. The grounds are beautiful with an excellent sunset view of the surrounding hills and vineyards. Would definitely come back!
