We chose Sand and Sea because we wanted to be right on the beach. The photos are completely accurate. We walked the beach for over a mile in each direction and enjoyed the September surf. The beds were comfortable and our college-age son even slept well in the hall bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, but we did bring our own pizza pans for our family's homemade pizza for college football tradition. Alan was very prompt in communication and providing all the information we needed to check-in and check-out.

Great overall

The condo is cute and super convenient. The first floor access is great if you have kids--that run back up for a potty trip can't be beat! These condos were clearly built before the contemporary zoning rules were in place because it's SUPER close to the ocean. Feels a little scary at high tide, but maybe the bigger issue is that you can't really get down to the beach during that hour or so. We were lucky that high tide was first thing in the morning and then in the early evening during our stay, but it would have been frustrating to not be able to set up on the beach if high tide was in the middle of "prime time". Again, it was comfy and cute. The kids loved the bunk beds and we loved drinking coffee on the porch in the morning. We'd stay there again, but might check the tide tables first!

Great location, but no amenities/service

The location of this property is incredible. Literally you can walk out your front door down some stairs and to the beach. However, the property itself was not in great condition. The condo is more worn down than in the pictures. The little loveseat outside was unusable because the air conditioning unit was right above it and leaked rusty water on to it. There was also mold in the bathroom. And just general wear and tear. there were 0 indoor amenities. Not even coffee, or water bottles, or much of anything. All of the linens were wrapped in plastic (which is wasteful). The host sent us numerous messages on upgrades we could purchase which honestly felt like getting ads. My biggest complaint is that we paid a cleaning fee, but we had to make our bed (it was not made when we arrived), strip the bed and place all of the towels and linens in a laundry bag, hand wash all of the dishes, take out all of the trash, and be out by 10am on check out day. Why are we paying for cleaning if all that is left is vacuuming and throwing some things in the laundry? Overall, impressed with the location but unimpressed with the unit itself and with the price/fees.

Beautiful, clean space

Beautiful, quiet location. Very clean and well appointed. The mattress was firm and very comfortable, and the bathroom has an excellent showerhead. Gorgeous views, we loved walking right out to the beach and watching the dolphins. Would absolutely stay at this property again.

Great little place

Nice 4 night stay at a great price. Great view of the ocean from the balcony for morning coffee. Very easy in and out. Communication with Alan was great, from entry of the place until the time I left. I wld stay here again.

Peaceful beach

Nice and quiet - Alan was very responsive with any issues. Did have a couple - wifi which seems to have been a neighborhood issue and the heat didn’t work one night which made the bedroom freezing. Alan suggested trying the breaker box when I asked the next day (too late to reach out by the time I realized it wasn’t working) which did the trick. Probably a good idea to include in the instructions.

Excellent vacation spot

The view and accessibility of the beach/ocean was priceless. Location was amazing (quick drive inland if needed). Home itself: they did a great job to maximize space, bunk beds were adorable, the master bed was incredibly comfortable and honestly I didn’t need to bring my pillows because for a rental their pillow quality was excellent. Alan is incredibly helpful and quick to respond to emails during booking process Asha we had no issues during stay but I don’t doubt he would have responded just as quickly. Loved our vacation and very thankful for our stay!

Highly recommend

Our family loved staying at Sand and Sea. We’ve never stayed right on the beach. The views were amazing. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked. The owners put a lot of care into the details and it showed. The new beach chairs were a great touch too! We are a family of 4 and we all loved the stay. Our teens loved the WiFi and streaming of course! We highly recommend staying here and definitely hope to come back again in the future!
