Fall Break

Fall break was a relaxing break and the weather was beautiful. Loved the layout of the condo but there was something’s that need attention. The sofa and the loveseat need a thorough cleaning or replacing. While we don’t expect the properties we stay at to have everything we need but the kitchen could have been better stocked (decent larger frying pan and a few essentials like trash bags, dishwasher pods, aluminum foil..you get the picture). The view was amazing and at a great location.

Great place!

This property was very comfortable and clean. I loved the view from the balcony and the taller chairs out there so I could easily see over the railing. The lighting in the living room was excellent, which was great for the one day that was rainy and overcast. The kitchen was stocked with everything I needed. Great place!

Can’t wait to return!

We had a great first time visit to Topsail Beach! This beachfront condo was clean, beautifully decorated with a well-stocked kitchen. The balcony was a peaceful hangout morning, noon and night. The resort itself was lovely. Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach home.

The condo was very clean and furnishing were so comfortable. We had the most relaxing weekend.

We loved the oceanfront balcony. It was shaded all day and it was so relaxing in the evenings to just sit out there and watch the tide come in.

Great short stay at beautiful Topsail Beach

This property is as beautiful as the pictures and is perfectly located to local eateries and nearby towns. It’s a perfect stay for those taking their new Marines to closely located Jacksonville (approx 30-40 min drive). The only reason the check-in process wasn’t 5 star is because keys have to be picked up and dropped off at a location that was little out of the way for us when on the way to drop off at the base. It’s not that huge of a deal- but in a time crunch, it may matter slightly.

Gone Coastal was a perfect 4th of July Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property and condo. The resort itself is beautiful and the on-site restaurant was very good. The condo listed exactly what was on-site and very clean and comfortable.

Nice, spacious unit with great views

Great views from this unit from multiple rooms and the balcony. Stylishly furnished, comfortable sofas, beds. Lighting was great (it was stormy our 1st 2 days so that was important). Property manager process was well organized with excellent communication. Although it was noted there might be "some" construction, we felt this was grossly understated. The entire complex is under major construction for what appears storm damage. The dune in front was filled with debris. There was a contractor cutting boards with an electric saw outside our door when we arrived (there were signs on our door & the unit next door warning the workers that the units were occupied and not to enter). Although it was a bit cool to swim, we hoped to use the hot tubs which were closed & had been for some time (we did not see that mentioned in the listing). It might have been the weather & time of year (Sept) but there is not much space to sit on the beach & at high tide there is no beach at all. That worked for us but might not for others if they expect to lay out on soft sand (almost all was hard pack) so beach chairs are needed. Parking is very limited on site - especially with construction vehicles so expect to walk from a remote lot across the main road if it's full. Fortunately, we were there for only a weekend & the workers were not there on the rainy Friday so we experienced minimal construction noise. Our favorite dinner was Steamers down in Surf City where we purchased their low country boil seafood kit - easy to make & delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Perfect vacation!

The property was beautifully furnished and well maintained. The view from the balcony was gorgeous! We sat outside as much as possible and were able to see dolphins playing in the ocean several times. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing my family’s meal. The a/c unit was down when we arrived, however after calling, we were brought fans and portable AC units. We will definitely be back again to Gone Coastal!

The pool area was very nice, but the condo was not as described and lacked a lot of things.

Once entering the condo I immediately noticed that the condo had not been cleaned properly. The floors had not been swept and I stepped on something in the carpet. They advertise it as been newly renovated, well it was it you count new countertops or sink hardware/cabinets as new renovation. There were places where paint was missing on every one of the doors and molding. Not just chips, big places. I was embarrassed when the family came to see us. There was what could have been drink or something spilled inside the master's window seal. The bed frame in the master suite had part of its paint or wood missing. I could not believe it really. The closet in the master where I had to hang my husbands and my clothes had the cleaning supplies in it ( mothers clothes had to hang in there as well because there is no closet in the twin room). So my clothes shared a closet with a full vacuum that had not been cleaned, brooms, and dusting items. The blinds in the queen room looked like a bunch of kids had been wrestling with them. The mattress in both the queen and the twin rooms were so cheap that it felt like you were sleeping on the box spring and made noises like an old wood floor. I took photos right after we came in because I could not believe it. Last but not least, I was made to make up all the beds before I left, which you would have thought the maid service that you pay for would do it. Do they clean the beds? I'm not sure. I would never stay at this condo again under these conditions and truly can not believe I paid over $3000 to stay there. The agency was great.

little piece of Paradise

we really liked the stay the room was awesome. the view was spectacular. woke up early every morning just to watch sun rise. we seen dolphins every day. Couple of things to mention. window functions not so good to stay open or have screens for bugs and blinds for privacy. services for bedding and other items our bin had no bath sets in it and we couldn't get a response until checkout day on this and we had to make different arrangements. I'm sure this was because of holiday weekend . would suggest that these new owners have a guest book it would be fun to see who stayed here or see who stayed between our visits. because we would for sure check this room availability if we come again.

Loved the Oceanside balcony!

The property was beautiful. For us, the Oceanside balcony was the crown. My elderly parents could not make the walk out to the beach but were able to enjoy the air and the view from the balcony which was so important to us. The overall property was very nice and well-maintained.
