"The house was really nice, couldn't get the internet connection to work for watching TV, but my family enjoyed how spacious it was for a rambler and my kids liked the backyard. "

"First the excellent. A garage w/opener made it ideal to load and unload our vehicle out of the rain. Washer and dryer also a big plus. The bad. Yard is overgrown. Trip hazards (above ground roots) all around. Meals had to be eaten from the lift top coffee table. The dehumidifier was accidentally bumped, causing the drain hose to fall off, which left a huge puddle of water on the kitchen floor. Not he correct connection on the unit. "My family and I loved our stay here! The photos don’t do it justice — the home was even better in person. The game room was an absolute gem, perfect for all ages. "Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. Even my barely mobile 84 year-old mother-in-law could get down to the beach to watch us kayak and swim. My only tiny complaint is that the knives in the kitchen were almost too dull to use,...

"Beautiful home in an amazing location! The house itself is so cute and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and other thoughtful amenities like games, puzzles, a cd player and cute back porch with a fire pit and hot tub. The location can not be beat, just a stones throw from Jedidiah Smith State Park and some of the best redwood hikes available anywhere. We would definitely stay here again and wish we stayed longer this visit! "
