This place is FANTASTIC! The property itself is amazing—the river is right there! It’s close enough to Brookings and Crescent City to where there’s plenty to do. But, if you just want to relax at the house, it’s clean and comfortable. Even when it was raining, we still had a beautiful view of the river from the sliding door in the living room. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great for cooking our own meals (although it is worth ordering from Wild River Pizza for, at least one meal—that place is awesome!). I would definitely stay here again. Everything about this stay was easy and painless—directions and instructions were clear. This was a wonderful family Spring Break vacation!

This was such a phenomenal stay! The property is gorgeous and had everything we needed. The view of the river was breathtaking and the outside space was perfect for person and dog alike! We would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing that we were bummed about was the hot tub. Only a couple of the jets worked and not that well. But overall we had a good time. The house was very comfortable and the property is beautiful.

The host was very nice. There were a few things that need to be addressed for the upcoming season. The shower door, in the bedroom bathroom, is missing a panel and the shower head needs some help also. The hot tub lid is waterlogged and too heavy to lift to use the tub. Everything else is very minor and we had a great time. Price was very reasonable.

A quiet place to stay right on the river. Very relaxing to sit out back and have a fire. Lots of room for our family of 5 to eat and relax. It is a bit of a drive into Brookings but the quiet space is worth it. Very rustic and could use updating for a more pleasing experience. Across the road (101) the Oregon Visit Centre and Crissy Field State Recreation is a must to explore. Includes a great beach to watch the sunset.

This house was perfect for our family week. 4 4 adults and 1 teenager! The dogs loved it too! The house was clean but needed a little maintenance but over all great! If you are looking for a fancy all brand new crisp furnishings this is not your place but if you are looking for a homey comfortable lived in animal friendly place to take your family and dogs for vaction it is perfect! It is right on the water so dogs and small children need to be watched! The fire pit is great right next to the water! Great for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows a camping feel with comfortable beds!

Overall, the property was beautiful. The house itself could have used more cleaning. There was cement table outside, one of the guests leaned on it and it fell off the pedestal, fortunately noone was hurt We were unable to get it back on the pedestal.

Great space!

The house was great. Beds were comfy. Lots of space to socialize. Kitchen fit our needs. Hot tub was clean and perfect temp! Enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.

First impressions are everything, there was ample parking for our 3 vehicles and it was private. The river was stunning and ensuite was very nice, This property is a little tired and could have been cleaner. It was expensive for what we got.

Not as advertised

There were a lot of things not working, the fish station was not working, the hot tub only 1 side of the jets would work at a time and only 4 adults could fit in it not 6. The sliding glass door was so tough to shut and open. The main bedroom had a missing door to the bathroom and panel in the shower. The deck was held up by jacks. The 4th bedroom did not have a Murphy bed it was a folding bed and was just a partian door off the kitchen which was missing hinges. The 3rd bedroom walls doesnt go up to the celing. And we could hear everything out in the kitchen it was not at all private. The website description was very miss leading. Had we not been 8 hours away from home we would have just left. The host did not communicate at all, the grill ignitor was broken and wasnt told how to start till i texted them. ive stayed in many vrbo and this was very disappointing. They do not put any money back into the property.. oh and the outside garbage was already full when we got there. aanso.htthgwprivate as the walls are paper thin.

Beautiful river front property

Came down to Brookings for my husband’s birthday. The house was really cute and right off the highway. It is right on the river which made it great for the guys to fish from! The hot tub on the deck was amazing! The only critiques I would have are the check-in/check-out times, the listing said check-in was 3, but when our friends got to the house at 3:30 the owners were still there cleaning and said check-in was actually at 4. Also, check-out is 10, which felt a little early only because not much in town opens til 11 so we had to kill time and wait for stuff to open. Overall, it was a fantastic home and we would definitely stay again!

Disappointed

Although location was nice, the place was dirty, trash left in bathroom from I can only guess previous tenants, the fire pit have the dirty used marshmallow prong things in it. The binder is outdated, the network for WiFi was incorrect. Disappointed for how much money we paid

Annual Firends Motorcycle ride

The location if this house is amazing. The house was beautiful and clean. They had everything we needed. The river was a nice place to paddle board. Checking in and out was extremely easy. We could not have picked up better house for our group
