Strandhill stables apartment with wood-fired sauna & king size bed

  • This apartment is part of a tastefully-restored stable block from the 1800s. It is peaceful, spacious and warm with underfloor heating throughout and a walk-in shower. The bedroom has a large king-size bed and the living room has a sofa bed that can be either a double bed or two twin beds. The apartment has private access within a sheltered traditional courtyard space. It features beautiful views of Knocknarea and a shared outdoor space complete with table and chairs, ceramic BBQ and a wood-fired sauna. It is five minutes from Strandhill beach and ten minutes from Sligo town, combining classic style, tranquility and modern comforts.

We so enjoyed our time at Strandhill stables apartment. The space was cozy, comfortable, and clean. We appreciated the open kitchen and sitting area. The location was close to the places we wanted to visit. We'd happily stay here again!

This place is lovely, cozy, and relaxing get away in a beautiful rural area. Very close to the ancient monuments in the area, as well as Strandhill and Sligo. There's a wonderful farm shop just down the road a short ways with anything you could need. I arrived at night and got confused trying to find the place at first because I had entered the address incorrectly into the Google maps app. I pulled off and contacted the host who immediately responded and guided me straight there. He made sure that I safely found my way. This is a wonderful place to stay and explore the area. So grateful to have found this gem! I'll definitely stay there again if I get the chance to travel this way again.
