"Short story, what was supposed to be a cheaper one night stay, ended up with a towed car and a towing bill. No mention of parking not being available in the complex in the listing. No mention of parking rules in the check in email. By the time I got clarification, I was already at a concert with my car left behind so I wouldn’t have to worry about looking for parking near the event. The irony doesn’t escape me."

"Everything within the host's control was wonderful. The bed was super cozy, they thoughtful provided a few snacks, and communication was great. I struggled to sleep due to the thin walls of the apartment building. The sounds of the neighboring residents seemed to be amplified. "The prioperty was exactly as described. Very spacious, clean and a great value for the price. The location was excellent as we needed to be in downtown Des Moines. The only negative at all was the sketchy feel to the neighborhood. The Bodega next to the property entrance always had a number of people milling around day and night, and there was a Police presence there several times which made us wonder. We had no problems personally. "

"Location was good. Looks to be an up-and-coming area. A little bit of a hike, but walkable to downtown. Check-in was easy however there was no parking pass or fob as promised. We had to find street parking. We were told they could drop off a parking pass, but not until the day we were checking out. After the first night, our door code was disabled and we were locked out. Luckily there was quick communication with the host and they were able to remotely reset the code. Blinds on patio door didn’t...

"We had a wonderful stay at this home in Ames, Iowa! The house was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet, friendly, and welcoming. The kids had an absolute blast with the game room in the basement, and the host provided lots of snacks and goodies that they loved. Overall, it was a fun and comfortable place for our family, and we will definitely be back!"
