"There were many great things about St John USVI, however: 1. You will absolutely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The grade leading to the Villa is about 40%. 2. "A welcome relief after an unanticipated start, Avis (STT) gave our Jeep away. With our free-wheeling plans dashed, we had to use taxis. In the unit was a list of Taxi contacts along with other useful info. All the taxi drivers we contacted were very helpful, especially Moses. The unit was delightfully quaint and very clean.
