We stumbled onto this property after a long eight day sail and could not have found a better place to rest and recuperate. It’s people and guests are what make it special.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It felt like home away from home. My husband and I wanted a quiet and quaint hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this hotel did just that and so much more. We will definitely visit Sint Maarten again and when we do this is where we'll stay. If you're looking for a clean, quiet and homey feel that's on a beach this is definitely the way to go.

The view from this property is amazing. Debbie and Doug are amazing hosts and want this to feel like home for you. One of the best experiences with a room I have had. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is so much better than it shows. I WILL BE BACK!!!!

Please don't even think of travelling to St. Marten unless you're going to stay at the Toad. When I arrived, four out of the eight suites were occupied by "regulars" who had been coming there for years. I found out why. A stunning view right on the water, steps to the warm sea. A parade of yachts going by. Always something to see. I enjoyed watching planes taking off and the sound was not bothersome. And then there's Debbie and Dan. You couldn't ask for nicer people. The nightly happy hour was a wonderful opportunity to chat with fellow travelers I didn't even rent a car for my six day visit. I walked to stores and restaurants You'll be happy to stay there!

We Shall Return

As being First Time Visitors to St Maarten, Cherry meet us out late when we got there due to some airline Delays and gave us the lay of the land. The waves pounded outside at the beach all night and it was super relaxing. The beach is 10 feet from the edge of the yard and it is absolutely beautiful. It was located near bars and breakfast places within walking distance on the beach or driving down the road.

Just a overall great experience

We could not asked for anything more. We had such a great time, lots of walkable things to do and the staff could not have been nicer. We would so come back and tell all our friends.
