Not what I expected

The condo was filthy. There was food dripped all down the front of the refrigerator, the floor had black dirt all over it and there were black smudgy fingerprints and food all over the coffee table and end tables. The bathroom cabinet was filthy, and the shower floor was also pretty dirty. The beach is not the same beach as in the photos. If it is, that is a very old photo as the beach was very narrow and difficult to walk on due to all the broken shells. It did not help that there was some sort of nasty algae In the water this week. The ocean water looked like urine. Consequently, the only thing we could do was sit in the Sunroom and look at the ocean.

Wonderful place on the beach

This was better than we could have hoped for. A clean and comfortable place directly on the beach. We had dinner most nights watching the sun set and with gentle gulf breezes and the sounds of waves putting us to sleep at night.

Very nice overall, would consider a return visit

Overall had a great time. The unit A303 was very clean except floors needed washed. I didn't care for the 'greenhouse' patio as it was almost unusable with the afternoon sun beaming in. Very hot even with the screen windows open. Very quiet so easy to hear the waves crashing on the beach at night. Cozy! Loved the layout of the unit, making it easy to work a few hours a day. Only complaint there is the internet went down twice and I received a response from the office days later, even though I called during office hours. We do like the area and this condo is good too. Much more to explore next time!

Condo itself was beautiful. The lock on the door was not secure, one night we accidentally left key inside when we left and had to call maintenance. Unfortunately maintenance did not call back for 45 mins but a credit card easily popped the lock open. We reported it to maintenance when he did call back.

Beautiful Condo

We've been vacationing in Florida for nearly 40 years and this condo was by far the best stocked yet. All we we had to bring was food and beverages and we were set for the week. The beds were comfortable and we especially appreciated the leather sofas. We loved having the beach right outside our door and found everyone there to be friendly and accommodating. The only negative was they were doing beach reconstruction right next door. Lots of big heavy equipment, noise and traffic gettting into and out of the complex. Other than that, a great week!

Fisherman’s Cove

We enjoyed the location and our rental unit. However checkin isn’t until 4:00 on a Saturday which is when the office closes until Monday morning. This makes reporting needs more difficult. We could not find the password for the WiFi. Also when we pulled back the bedspread to go to bed all we found was a bottom sheet. Thankfully there were some sheets in the closet but we had to infold three of them before we found a king size sheet. There was also a blanket in the closet but it had dirt and stains so we slept without a blanket until the next morning when I put it in the washing machine. I called an emergency # and Dan was very accommodating! He stopped by later with our WiFi password. I also thought it ridiculous that we were only allowed one roll of toilet paper which was the one on the holder! It was very thin and not enough to last two people for a week. The floors could have been vacuumed and mopped better too. I did do some vacuuming the day after we arrived. I realize employees and good cleaning crews may be a challenge to fine, but clea bedding and a made up bed should be essential!

Waterfront Views from Both Sides

The proximity to the Gulf on one side and to the lagoon with docks for boats on the other is unrivaled. If you want a relaxing beach vacation without the crowds, this is the ideal spot. Siesta Key Village is a short trolley ride away. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely return to this quiet, family friendly oasis!

Perfect stay on the quieter end of Siesta Key

This one bedroom unit was perfect for us. It was well equipped (it even had relatively sharp kitchen knives, a first for us!) and has excellent wifi. Everything is in excellent repair other than a few difficult to open windows. But I think most people don't open their windows anyway. We have already planned to return to this unit in 2021 and hoping to snag two weeks instead of one.
