"Old Carriage House converted into a wonderful apartment. We loved the location of this stay. We were just a short walk down from Colchester Castle and High Street, where we could find a wide range of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The city centre train station was just a short walk away as well. Thank you to our host for the awesome check-in and also for the lift to the "other" train station for our trip back into London. If we are ever in the Colchester area again, we will definitely stay...

"The property was listed as available for booking, so I made the reservation online and received a booking confirmation. Shortly afterwards, I received a message from the property owner saying: Hello, this booking is not available. Please may you cancel. I replied that I had already paid for the booking online and asked the owner to contact Expedia directly if there was an issue. The owner then responded: It's fine. Come on. See you. Thanks. Based on this, I understood that my reservation was...

"Just like the pictures. The apartment has two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom on the upstairs floor and a small kitchenette right by the entrance. The bedrooms have enough storage for clothes and other belongings. The fridge is small, but enough for one person and the pantry is spacious. "Very handy location close to where we needed to be in Chelmsford. Certainly more room that a budget hotel wih everything you need, including safe parking."

"The host forgot to send me access code before check in, I had waited for 30 min. except that, everything is good."

"Perfect compact studio loft, exceptionally clean and modern. Get the street number from Stef, as the name of the building isn't on the property! Free parking in central location was absolute icing on the cake for a short break to visit the area. The pub next door had a great selection of food for each night, we had travelled a long way and it was too cute to cook... But we did use the kitchenette! (The fridge was great for our breakfast condiments). Cleanest sheets ever slept in and...

"A clean and well-stocked flat in a very convenient location. Great appliances that all worked. A clean, comfortable bed and comfortable sitting area. Possibly the best VRBO we have encountered. If we had to point out limitations we would say the shower is a little small and it was odd that there were only 3 dinner forks but both would be a little nit-picky considering the overall quality of the flat!"
