The hot tub was huge and definitely a perk after lots of physical activity during the day. It’s more of a rural area but there was a small grocery mart and a restaurant/bar a few miles down the road. "We took a winter weekend get-away. This cabin is centered between Eben Cave (a beautiful ice cave that takes some hiking to get to) and Valley Spur (great groomed cross-country ski trails) and Pictured Rock (where we went snow-shoeing). We came back to this nice, cozy, warm cabin each night for dinner. It was so nice to sit by the fireplace- so nice and relaxing. The bed was super comfortable too. It was fun to see all the deer out back of the cabin. We would recommend!"
