"This cute little cottage (a converted carriage house) was perfect for my stay in Harper's Ferry. The cottage was well maintained, clean and cozy. I would definitely stay there again - particularly if I came in a car (it is near the top of a tall hill, and I came by bike off the C&O towpath, which was a climb!). Notes: (1) there are two rentals with the same address, a house and this carriage house out back. I had a mildly embarrassing moment when I showed up and tried to enter the wrong house....

"House is not directly connected to the Potomac river. That's all private property so you have to go to a common area to launch a boat or fish."

"With bedrooms and sitting rooms on 3 floors, our 3-generation family enjoyed having space to gather together as well as space for time apart. The decks allowed for additional places to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lake access was great for swimming and kayaking."
