Perfect Family Weekend

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Hearthstone Retreat. The location was perfect for a few days on the lake and a day trip to Eureka Springs. The pictures of the property were on point and the physical accommodations were excellent. Our family enjoyed the fire pit and game room the most. The hosts were very easy to communicate with from booking to checking out, it was all wonderful. We will certainly stay here again!

Shell Knob Family Time

This house was just perfect for our family of 13. So clean and spacious. We had such a wonderful time, no issues, no worries. We were visiting friends in play-a-port area and we were just 6 mins to go to the lake and having the grocery store just across the street was a plus. We would stay again if we return with the whole family, great memories were made.

Vacay on Table Rock Lake

The place was very clean, stocked, and homey. Plenty of room for family and friends gathering from MN and TX. Loved the closeness of the public boat ramp.

Great fun!

We had a wonderful time staying at the house. Everything was very clean and organized when we arrived. There were plenty of supplies and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Communication with the host was very smooth and any questions I had were answered promptly. We traveled with five kids and they spent countless hours playing ping pong in the game room. We also had plenty of room in the house to spread out and do our own things. If there were any “negatives” we were surprised at first to find the house right off the road but the convenience of getting to stores and marinas was worth it.

Best house for family vacation

This house was perfect for our family vacation! It was so close to the Marina for our boats and there was a grocery store right down the road. The house is huge and has so many amenities to help us enjoy our stay.

Southard Family summer Trip

We were extremely pleased with our decision to stay for 6 nights at The Hearth Stone Retreat in Shell Knob, Missouri. We had a very memorable stay. We re-bonded with our teenage grandchildren. Our group rented a boat and tubed on Table Rock Lake; our younger family members spent a day at Silvef Dollar City; we went to the dinner and play at The Shepherd of the Hills; we toured the Titanic Museum; we ate hamburgers, fries and had peach cobbler with ice cream at Billy Bob Dairyland in Branson; we attended a very energetic performance of The Haygoods at the Clay Cooper Theater in Branson; we attended a stunningly beautiful production of Queen Esther at the Sight & Sound Theater in Branson; we ate a wonderful Italian dinner at Ermilio’s Restaurant in Eureka Springs; we ate some really delicious, warm cinnamon rolls with pecans from The Root Cellar in Shell Knob; we spent an evening watching fire flies and sharing Sasquatch stories around a fire in the fire pit behind the house. It was a very memory-filled 6 day stay. Thanks to our hosts, Catherine and Richard Ramshaw, for having the vision to build this wonderful home and filling it with everything you will need to have a terrific time with your loved ones. We hope your stay here will be as life-affirming as ours was.

Family reunion

Enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was clean and lots of space for all of us to hang out. Decent location although close to the highway and no water access or view. Plenty of options nearby that worked out just fine.

Outstanding!

Our stay was outstanding! Very clean, great communication with owners and a very convenient location. We’ve got a place at Table Rock, but needed a place for our continuing growing family for this trip, and this was perfect for all ages in our group. We’ll definitely look to stay again in the future! Wonderful home to relax and enjoy!

We enjoyed the beautifully furnished home plus the game room and fire pit. What a great space to spread out or gather together. The grands were in heaven and wanted to move in! Thank you for a great getaway!!

You can't go wrong staying here

Our family and friends had such a wonderful time here. They house is beautiful and cozy. Plenty to do around the house or on the lake!! The owners are very kind and easy to get in touch with. You can't go wrong staying here.
