Beautiful cabin with a couple of issues
Overall our stay was pleasant and I would rate this in the 3.5 star range of places we've stayed in various online bnb type rentals. There were bad elements and good elements but I'll start with the bad.
The Bad:
- The Theater Room - this was the main draw for us when we chose the cabin. Right from the start, the projector remote did not function properly. We even bought new batteries and told we'd be reimbursed, but so far have not. The remote itself was broken but after two days of back and forth with management, we gave up. Luckily, we managed to get the front of the projector off so we could manually operate the it. If management hasn't replaced this remote when you arrive, you will HAVE to remove the front of the projector to operate it and even though we were told someone was coming up to the cabin to assist, no one did.
- The Xbox - just bring your own system. The Xbox is useless. In order to log in with your own personal account, you have to have a code and that code can only be supplied by whoever owns the xbox. Management has no idea about this code.
- Theater seats - only 3 recline, others broken.
- Dishwasher - if you're staying more than two days, you'll need to bring your own tabs.
- Beds - beds are firm. Not a problem if you prefer firm.
The Good:
- There is plenty of room to spread out. Plenty of restrooms and space so no one is on top of each other.
- The view is beautiful. Wild turkeys visited everyday.
- Loved the layout overall!
