Hidden little cabin

My family and I stayed at this cabin, what a great time we had. As much as we wanted to get out and explore surrounding areas and attractions, we also made sure we made time to unwind and relax at the cabin. The location is nestled between trees and you truly feel like you are in a treehouse, the cabin itself was super clean and had everything you need for a stay. We made a fire on the outside deck which was super cozy, my teenage son enjoyed the upstairs loft and sitting out on the upper level deck. We also watched a few movies in the loft together on the big screen and comfy chairs that recline, we barbecued and made some homemade meals. We used the fireplace on one of the chilly nights. It was truly an amazing time and we can't wait to go back. Bea was awesome and checked in with us and gave great directions and tips for getting to the cabin. One of the best parts- we got to see a bear 🐻 on the drive to the cabin.

Best Stay Ever!

This cabin was the ultimate place. 10/10 will book again. My friends and I are flight attendants so we travel often all over and this cabin by far was one of the best places we have ever stayed. It’s even MORE beautiful than the photos. The beds were comfortable, it was immaculate inside and out. I cannot say enough great things about Bear Mountain Chalet! The location was AMAZING as well. All of the information we needed was communicated perfectly for us and our stay. If you consider this cabin for your stay.. you found your place. Book it!

cozy cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening after busy days out touring. The cabin is clean and well furnished. Beds are comfortable and the loft bedroom has a large sitting area with a large screen tv. Bea was an amazing host she talks you through all steps of your stay and is quick to communicate and answer any questions you have. The cabin has nice wooded views however the drive to the cabin is not for the faint of heart. It is nestled up in the hills with quite the step drive and sharp corners. Worth the view and the stay if you are a confident driver.

Girls Trip

We had the MOST amazing stay at this canin! Absolutely beautiful and cozy! Very steep driveway but worth it! The outdoor deck with fireplace and hot tub is perfect. The beds very comfortable. The scenery amazing. Check in process was easy and the hosts sent me everything i needed. I never had to ask for anything ! We went to Nashville first and then relaxed here for a few days and we will be back! Absolutely amazing ! The bears are a sight as well!

The cabin was beautiful with breaktaking veiws. The outdoor games are a perfect touch! My family had a fun time playing them. It was the perfect getaway for my wife's birthday. Highly recommend!

Super nice cabin !

We very much enjoyed our stay. Cabin was great with lots of things for kids to do and entertain themselves with. Very nice property and the hot tub is great. The driveway is VERY steep and scary - make sure to put the car in the lowest gear. The owners are very communicative and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect!

Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend for our 5 year anniversary. It was the perfect location from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The property itself is beautiful and clean! The activities, sitting area, and hot tub were a huge plus. You also have privacy even though you have a neighbor that you share a driveway with. The driveway is SUPER steep. You definitely need a 4WD vehicle as explained in the description of the property. Especially if you go in the winter or rainy season. Overall, we loved this cabin and plan on booking again.

Phenomenal Cabin, Superb communication.

We had the best time. The cabin was amazing, the updates & response to questions was prompt & extremely courteous. Beds we comfy, atmosphere perfect, hot tub awesome, fireplace, BBQ grill. Everything was awesome. Could not ask for a better place to stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Love Bear Mountain Chalet

My family and I really enjoyed our time at the cabin this week. The cabin itself is super clean and has everything you need for a great stay. The outdoor deck was our favorite part where we had a fire and spent some time in the hot tub. We even got to see some bears! The owner Bea was super sweet, attentive, and accommodating. Perfect cabin for a family

This was my families first time visiting the Smokey Mountains and we wanted a relaxing no rush agenda. This cabin was perfect! We enjoyed the hot tub and the incredible view. Every night we watched a great movie and played the games. The kids loved the ringer game and bags, as well as the board games. We prepared all our meals at the cabin and loved every minute we spent there.

This cabin has it all!!! The owner was super helpful with everything and the cabin was very clean. We made dinner one of the nights and everything that you could ever need was in the kitchen. From the view, hot tub, 70” flat screen, comfy beds, fireplaces and location it was amazing. Definitely best cabin on the mountain, thanks again!

Excellent mountain vacation....

Just back from our 4 day stay and we are already missing it! It was our 1st time staying in a cabin so we were a little unsure about the whole process but the owner, Bea, made it so easy with detailed instructions. The cabin was super clean and decorated exactly like the pictures show. The inside is super cozy and has an "at home" feel. The owners have stocked the kitchen well with pots and baking pans as well as dishes and utensils. We felt so at home while we enjoyed the gorgeous views from every room in the cabin! The outside spaces they have created are amazing! We enjoyed morning coffee on the porches and evenings in the hot tub. Bea was so kind and caring, sending local grocery store information as well as alerting us of weather conditions in the area. She even sent a lawn service over to blow off the leaves on the driveway and porches one morning! We highly recommend this beautiful cabin! It's secluded enough for a peaceful setting but easy to get to the attractions that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer. It's well maintained and tastefully decorated. Thank you to Bea and her husband for sharing their cabin with us! Lots of memories were made here!

Peaceful and some near encounters

The property is beautiful, peacefully, and thoughtfully stocked. The owners were very responsive to messages. Our kids loved the loft and outdoor decks. The driveway is definitely steep but very manageable. We saw bears up close everyday we were there. Definitely recommend!

It was a great location for our family to check out the Smoky Mountain National Park as well as head into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to see those attractions. Mountain experience, tucked into the hill. Great view, wildlife passing through the property regularly.

We were setting on the poarch talking when all of a sudden three Bears were on the front poarch. We all ran inside while the Bears helped themselves to the trash in the barrell. The outside patio & hot tube are somthing to see.

Fantastic week!

The owners were so nice to talk to! We got a text with a picture from the security camera warning us about a bear in the vicinity (we named him George - he came back 2 more times). When our family was debating the animals all of the furs came from they were happy to play the game and settle our bets for us. They were very responsive when we had an issue. Very easy and accommodating owners. The cabin can be tricky to get to but we were provided with very detailed and helpful instructions complete with pictures making it painless. The entire cabin is very well equipped including the kitchen - down to supplying normal pantry staples like sugar and flour. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!
