"We had a great stay in this property. It is clean, well equipped and in a really handy location with the train station close by and a nice couple of wee pubs up the road. the house itself has a modern kitchen and main bathroom as well as another bathroom on the top ( 3rd Floor ). Bedrooms have good space and are clean and well maintained. It is an older terraced property over three floors and with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor, it might not suit those with mobility issues,...

"The cottage was new, so it was beautiful, clean, and well looked after. Set in the countryside it was very quiet. It was like a home from home and very comfortable. The only downside was the ticking clock in the bedroom and the heat pump, which kicks in at all times during the night. With it being so quiet outside these sounds were magnified and we haven’t come away feeling refreshed. If anything we feel more tired. Beautiful place but the above 2 reasons will stop us returning. "

"The owner has spared no expense on renovations. The property has been expertly redone by an interior designer using very high end materials. The sound proofing between rooms is amazingly good. The neighbourhood is lovely and very quiet. The owner has strict rules in the house. While I can totally respect that, it felt as if we weren’t fully welcome. Entirely the owner’s right to set as many rules as they want. As a vacation rental owner myself, I’m more focussed on the guest...
