The guesthouse itself served its purpose for my overnight stay in the area. The bed was clean, and the staff was helpful and informative. The bathroom in my dorm was interesting in that if the sink ran too long, the floor flooded. Also, our dorm room door stayed unlocked the entire night. It wasn't a problem, but it defeated the purpose of giving us room keys.

24 hour layover
I've been to many hostels all over the world and this is one of the best ones I have stayed at. You are provided with a towel and a lock for your locker. They have "breakfast" included. It is mostly cereal, toast, juice and milk. I came during December and the room was warm. It is in a convenient location, close to a lot of shopping and food and the subway.

This is a so so hostel. The bathrooms are a little funky where they are both toilet stalls and showers. I think the bunkrooms could be better ventilated, and for some reason the hallways smelled like poo (not sure if this is typically the case). The location is great though and very close to a metro station. Also I thought the staff was very kind and accommodating.

I was a guest here nearly four years ago. Thankfully, nothing has changed: great staff, a safe and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable beds and linen, breakfast, coffee and juice. All for a fair price. This is how a guesthouse is supposed to be. Thank you, guys!

So easy to find G Gesthouse, and location is perfect to everything needed, shops, bakeries, restaurants, pubs and etc, but the welcoming staff is far better then anything ! Thank you G guesthouse for being so helpful and nice to us !

I, like a couple other folks, had a longer than usual stay. However, it was two weeks well spent. The staff always do a good job showing interest in the guests and their needs. In addition, there is plenty of food for the free breakfast (eggs toast. jam cereal, butter coffee) , and they are quite flexible when it comes to potential timing concerns. However, I do have one request...and that is make sure guests are not smoking in the room and try to convince the smokers that when they stand RIGHT BY THE OPEN DOOR and engge in their habit, the smell fills the entire place. I don't wish to be rude but non-smokers don't need have to endure that . That is it...I loved my stay and am grateful there was room.

I stayed there three times the past few months and each time was a nice experience. The rooms were clean, along with the bathrooms/showers. The guest lobby is very useful and pragmatic, if you like to stay in and cook four yourself. The free breakfast in the morning in plentiful, with eggs, toast (with plenty of butter and jam), cereal and coffee. There plenty of books to read, informative literature to guide your through Seoul and the staff are all ready to help and answer questions in a friendly manner.

В целом все понравилось
Персонал внимательный, не смотря на языковой барьер (я не говорю по корейски и не знаю английского) все понятно, заселяешься в комнату, предоставляют ключи с номером твоей кровати и этим же номером ячейки. Есть туалетные принадлежности, шампунь, кондиционер, гель для душа, зуб паста, мыло, полотенца, фен. На этаже стоит кулер с холодной и горячей водой. Понравился отличный, сытный завтрак. Так же в течении дня можно готовить свою еду. На крыше есть терраса. Минусы: поскольку район с клубами и барами некоторые соседи возвращаются поздно ночью.

good breakfast of toast, cerials, eggs, milk and several kinds of juices. there was little kitchen in the little dining area which is next to reception, so sometimes it was crowded and busy but I had no serious problem. Since there is stairs from the ground to the buildings on the hill, another stairs to the reception and possibly more to some rooms in the upstairs, it might be a little less convenient for travelers with big baggages. Toilet and shower were equipped in the same little room, so sometimes it was all fully wet. But hot water was working fine. Rooftop was good and spacious. There are many shops by foreign immigrants with many bars, a little night spot maybe suit to people who want to enjoy night spots. Meanwhile there is different mood in the neighbor street with a lot of vintage stores clothing shops, some cafes, comfortable to walk around in the daytime.

The best part about the hostel is definitely the staff! They were very helpful in answering questions I had about planning my trip, and changed me to a different room as well to make me feel more comfortable. The showers could have been cleaner, but functioned well enough. It was great to have the laundry facilities right there and for a very reasonable price. It needs to be noted that the hostel has a lot of steps and stairs though, which could be a problem for some. Other than that, it is in a good location, with buses and the metro very close by. Lots of food places around and fairly easy access to airports and bus stations. The bed was very comfy and the sheets clean and the towel provided. The rooms had lockers too so that was great. I had a good time here :)

部屋、シャワー等設備、全てキレイでした。スタッフもとても親切で愛嬌があり安心感がありました。1点だけ面倒だったのがベッドメイキングがセルフでした。チェックインの時にシーツ、ふとんカバー、枕カバーを手渡しされました。

이태원역(Metro)에서 가까움. 도보 3분 거리. 완전 깔끔한 느낌의 게하가 아닌 그래피티가 많고, 자유분방한 느낌. 화장실+샤워실이 혼합형태로 3개 정도. 별개의 화장실도 있긴 함. 샤워 많이 하는 시간에는 이 점이 불편. 외부에 따로 되있어서 늦게 샤워가능하고 헤어드라이어는 샤워실 내에 있음. 침구와 수건이 깨끗해서 매우 만족. 프린터 서비스 있음. 빨래실 있음. 체크아웃 후 짐보관 해주어서 매우좋음(감사드림). 아침(jam 2가지와 토스트, 계란, 시리얼과 우유, juice 3가지)이 의외로 너무 맛있음. 4.5점!!!!

great place to stay, to make new friends~
it’s really cozy to stay, all the staffs are very helpful and speak fluent English. the hostel is right next to the a popular youngster district, lots of bars and great restaurants of various types of food with reasonable prices. close to Itaewon station, just 5 minutes of walk. it got a great view from the rooftop, it’s a great place to hang out with new friends. i have made nine new friends from my stay at his guesthouse. i will surely be back again~~

전반적으로 만족
이태원역에서 가깝고 편의점도 가까운 곳에 위치하고 있어 편리했습니다. 트윈룸 이용하였는데 방이 넓었고 전망이 아주 좋았습니다. 화장실도 깨끗하고 넓었습니다. 친절한 직원분까지 전반적으로 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다.

위치 매우 훌륭 친절한 서비스 깔끔한 관리 가격대비 훌륭한 곳 루프탑의 훌륭한 뷰 개인 사물함비치 정수기비치 계단이 가파르니 술취해서 올라가지 맙시다 자주갈거에요. 맘에 들어요 정말 많은 곳을 여행다니거 다양한 게스트하우스를 이용해봤는데. 이 곳을 이용ㅎ고 느낀 점은 주인분께서 정말 많은 곳을 다 다녀보셨을거라는 느낌 그만큼 꼼꼼하고 이용하는 사람들의 편의를 생각하심 욕실 안 드라이어도 맘에 들어요. 새벽에 들어와서 샤워하고 사용하기 좋음

좋아용
생각보다 깨끗하고 침대도 안락해서 좋았습니다. 여자 4인룸 1층 침대에서 잤는데 침구가 푹신해서 좋았어요. 약간의 얼룩은 있었지만 심하진 않았고 워낙 하얀 침구류니까 그러려니 했습니다. 다만 1층 침대는 높이가 낮아서 침대에 걸터 앉아있을 수는 없어서 그 점이 약간 불편했습니다. 그리고 복도 소음이나 외부 소음이 좀 들려서 아주 예민하신 분들은 불편할수도 있을 것 같아요. 하지만 화장실도 깔끔했고 조식도 나오고 위치도 좋고 저는 잠도 잘 자서 괜찮았어요. 다음에 게하 또 간다면 여기로 올 것 같아요.

장점 : 슈퍼가깝다/ 이중잠금가능/ 침대가 크다. 푹신하다. 편하다. 보들보들하다. / 물 따뜻하다. 온돌도 가능하다. 실내온도도 가능하다. / 슬리퍼 있음. 전자레인지, 냉장고 있음. /이태원이지만 조용하다./인테리어 신경 쓴 듯. (여름이면 에어컨이 2개나 있는 듯. ) 단점 : 춥다 찾기 힘들다. 화장실 좁다. 물 없다. 철침대라 소리가 많이 난다. 수건 하루에 1장만 줌. 어둡다(적응됨, 잠만 잤기에 괜춘), 문 열 수 없다.

G게스트하우스는 이태원의 바로 중심에 위치해 있으면서도 한 블록 떨어져 있는데요, 조용하다는 이점과 더불어 가끔 길을 잘못 찾아오신다는 단점이 함께 있는 것 같습니다ㅎㅎㅠㅠ 수건은 요청하실 경우 언제든지 무료로 추가 제공하고 있으며, 지하 리셉션과 건물 2층에서 정수기를 찾으실 수 있습니다. 방 안이 춥다고 생각되시면 말씀하신 것처럼 온돌과 히터 사용이 가능하니 저희 스태프에게 편하게 문의해주세요! 더 개선된 시설과 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 다음번에 또 뵙길 바라겠습니다. 다시 한 번 찾아주셔서 감사합니다 :)

1) Very helpful and friendly staff 2) Just a few mins to subway 3) Comfortable bed and large lockers ***If you have pretty much luggage just like me, the stairs inside and outside the hostel may be a challenge for you:)
