"The loft was very clean and very cool! It’s in a building on the National Register of Historic Buildings in downtown (old town) Spearfish. The loft was well appointed and renovated very well. Parts of the floor creaked a bit, that’s to be expected of a historic building. The loft has plenty of charm and a great location. If you are coming to Spearfish I would highly recommended you stay here!!"

"We used the property as a home base while touring southern South Dakota. A sign as you enter stating "No shoes" would be helpful. The stairs to the loft could be a problem for some individuals"

"6 room claim is not really accurate, made over closets in bedrooms are not rooms. But too be fare it is listed in the details. I just booked on the 6 bedrooms because there was 4 couples and 2 singles.Other than that everything was great."

"The house was just what we were looking for and it fit the bill for us. It was clean with all the amenities needed. The location was great with nice views driving to the house and leaving. Dan & Sherry are great hosts, very responsive to any questions. Also recommendations for places to go or sights to see. We hope to go back to SD sometime and if we do, we wouild love to stay there again.. "

"The pictures on the site don’t tell the story . They look good . The place is extremely small And cramped . It was clean . The air conditioner is a small in the bathroom window so the main part where the bed was did not get cool . The bed was comfortable . The price was rather high for what a person got . The other units are monthly rentals and the parking is horrible . "
