"We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. "The stay was just what the doctor ordered. It was quiet and peaceful (No Blowers, for those of you who have to tolerate them where you live) and the cabin is perfect. Our lab loved the water. We couldn't get her out. We will stay again, hopefully in the near future. Thank you Lindsey."

"This property is a dream. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Right on the river, walking distance to hiking, and complete privacy from neighbors. There's a side yard area where my 4 year old could safely play without worrying he'd run toward the water. Access to the water was easy for us, water low now so we practiced fishing on the rocks. "The front desk employee is very rude and money hungry. I reserved a room with two beds and sofa sleeper. They didn’t allow me to accommodate party of 5, alleging hotel policy is of 4 people per room. Be careful with the policies they make up to their advantage to make one to pay for additional rooms. Plus it was for a third adult who is disabled who cannot take care of herself. The hotel tried to force us to reserve a room by herself. Facilities are old and does not smell well. Musty odor in building."
