Beware, Beware, Beware!Staying at this villa felt like walking into a nightmare on Elm Street. After traveling all the way from the United States, I arrived expecting the beautiful property shown in the listing—but what I walked into was completely the opposite.When we pulled up, there was trash outside the property. The front door was already open, and I later discovered it would not properly close. The outdoor lounge chairs were torn with holes in them, the pool had visible rust, and many of the pillows were stained. Cabinets and drawers were hanging off the hinges, and several electrical outlets were loose and hanging out of the walls, which felt unsafe.Inside, there were multiple flies and mosquitoes, including dead bugs on the bed. The overall condition of the villa was dirty, damaged, and nothing like the photos being advertised online.Because the property was uninhabitable and unlivable, I could not stay there. I was only inside long enough to realize I needed to leave immediately and spend additional money on a hotel.I have been working with Vrbo to get this matter resolved and to have this listing reviewed. Unfortunately, the host has been unresponsive, and I was informed several times that they were not responding to attempts from Vrbo either by phone or email.Please save yourself the stress, disappointment, and extra expense. Do not rent this villa. Good luck to anyone considering
