"We stayed in one of the cottages which although a bit dated offer a lot of space and character. The room itself was spotless and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. "The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough "

"It was a very nice room in a seperate building at the back of the pub by the car park. It even had a small fridge as well as Kettle and coffee etc. Very quiet, nice location. Looks like a nice pub too but I didn't try it."

"Tried this hotel for the first time. This charming and comfortable hotel, sensitively evolved from a historic town house into a modern hotel with period atmosphere. Was well worth the visit. The hotel has accessible rooms which complied with our specific requirements. Well designed rooms with regulation fixtures and fittings but with an old world feel. The accessible rooms front onto a small attractive courtyard. Staff are excellent. Food is excellent although only breakfasts are served at this...
