But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! We loved our stay. The home was a perfect fit for our family! It was a special part of our Christmas celebration. The design and spaces made it easy for our group of 11 to spend time together. The view is spectacular. We especially want to thank our hosts for their hospitality and attention to details making our stay so meaningful! We would come back any opportunity we have in the future!

Stunning views, great location

The property offered stunning views all around. It was amazing to wake up to the red rocks and watch them change through golden hours. So many great photo opps. The location was super convenient, we were able to walk down to the town and were central to several of the hikes and vortexes. And the kids loved the pool!

Poor Property Managers

Sheets and house were dirty. Stains and hairs in more than one room. Hair on floors too. I’d upload the pictures, but the app doesn’t allow it. We had started washing them ourselves and host (she was nice, but her partner was extremely belligerent) did offer to send someone to make the beds again, but they couldn’t get anyone to come. So we were up for hours washing and changing the sheets.Also, when we got there, thermostat showed it was almost 80 degrees in there (about the same as the outdoor temp during the day). It took hours to cool. And every night when we came back, it was 80 degrees again. We alerted the host and they sent an hvac guy on the day we left who said that the Nest thermostat was still programmed for the winter. So even though we set it to cool, it kept reverting to the heating program. When we asked for some compensation for these issues, not only did he say no, but adding insult to injury, he denied that anything was wrong. He said the sheets were clean, despite the pictures we sent and then he accused us of a breaking a chair which was not true. If you’re looking for a property where the managers are actually looking after things and where they will work with you when there is an issue, this isn’t the one to book. A few other things to note:- towels were threadbare, some with holes in them - pool is basically just a plunge pool. Very small. - driveway is extremely steep and hard to access. -bedrooms feel dark and dingy

Ultimate Uptown EXCEEDED Our Expectations!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous uptown Sedona property! Our group was 7 adults for a 4 night stay over New Years Eve 2025. All of the property amenities were brand new and very comfortable. All bedroom/bathrooms had great mattresses & bedding, as well as good linens, bath towels, etc. The kitchen was well-equipped with new appliances and plenty of plates, cups, etc. We also enjoyed using the outside gas grill. The evenings were cool in Sedona and my family really enjoyed using the hot tub. This was probably our favorite amenity. We enjoyed the stunning 180 degree views of the Sedona area from the outdoor decks! The photos on the listing do not give the views of the area proper justice! It's worth noting the driveway is steep so proceed with caution. Also, the short 2-3 block walk into uptown Sedona was really nice and convenient, however the walk about to the home is up a steep hill and may not be for everyone. Finally, the communication with the owners was very good and timely. With their help, we were able to check-in a little early on our arrival date and the owners touched based a couple times during our trip just to make sure things were going well. All in all, this property and it's location is a solid 9.5/10! We would seriously consider renting the same home again.

One of the cleanest rentals we've stayed at. Beautiful and very well-stocked kitchen, and beautiful living area with magnificent views. Unbelievably quick and helpful communication from the property owners.
