But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! We all agreed that the pictures don't do this place justice...it is even nicer, cleaner than the pics! In addition, it was usually only 5-10 minutes from the excursions, restaurants, etc. that we planned to visit.

Location was great, but really didn't appreciate that most of the windows were painted shut. I'm sure you've maybe had not-great vacationers in the past but look - in the middle of the day when it's 65 degrees out and the wind is blowing and we're inside relaxing, playing a card game at the table.. having the windows open for some fresh air would be great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for my 45th bday and our daughter’s fall break! It was peaceful and beautiful. Upon our arrival we saw three massive mule deer foraging across the driveway. The home is so open, bright, and airy. Beds are comfy, big comfy couch, neighborhood is so quiet, views everywhere you look, and it’s so close to everything, but you don’t hear any traffic! My daughter and husband enjoyed playing games on the lawn while I sat out on the deck drinking coffee. We will be back. We visit Sedona often, but this is our first time staying at a VRBO and we definitely chose well!

Exceptional property - excellent experience

Property was as described and shown in photos. Location was excellent - in a very nice, quiet neighborhood that is short walk from uptown and trails just a few hundred yards from the front door. The property is private with great views of the surrounding red rocks. The home is also within the Sedona on demand shuttle zone. We used that shuttle a few times and found it convenient. Home was very clean with easy to understand instructions for all aspects of the home. Communication with the property manager was great. The layout of the home was great with a massive sectional / sofa in the family room. Our family of 6 had plenty of space to spread out. Thanks much for sharing your home. We can confidently recommend it to anyone and we would definitely stay here again.

Great views, great space

Tucked in a quiet neighborhood in walking distance to upper Sedona, the house is open and there are lots of windows. The beds are comfortable. We loved it! The sheets did have a chemical smell and we had to run them through the wash, since one of us was sensitive to that. But that took care of it. Definitely would stay there again.

Great Girls Weekend

Met a few of my gal pals in Sedona for a girls hiking weekend from Detroit, Buffalo and Atlanta. This home was absolutely perfect. It is super close and walkable to restaurants and shops and a short drive to the big trailheads. The home was stocked with everything we needed to make our own breakfasts, chill out in the hot tub after a long hike and then enjoy a great night’s sleep in the comfy beds. We will definitely stay again if we head back to Sedona!
