The house was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space and places to enjoy the company of friends. Loved the hot tub, pool, and lounging deck out back. Close to everything you'd want in Sedona and far enough away to enjoy the peace of Sedona. The hosts were communicative and informative. Loved the guide you get in advance to get to know the area and property. They hosts clearly care for the house as someone came to clean the pool/hot tub twice while we were there and folks came to tidy up the landscaping. The hosts let us know about all of that in advance so we'd know what to expect. The one note I'd make is about the room with the two twin beds. That is the room you have to walk through to get to the second part of the house with the upstairs King bed/bunk beds and second kitchen. Not a problem, but that was unclear for us ahead of time.

Our stay was such an amazing time... this home was as it was described relaxing, beautiful with a great view for a sunset and sunrise. Our children enjoyed it so much. I recommend this place to any family looking for a spot to relax ,chill and close to the center this is it.

This is a an awesome property if would like to spend time with your extended family group or friends. This is a really big , cute house. It was well maintained, the pool tub and jacuzzi were our group’s favorite area. There are good segregations with multiple living rooms and kitchens if different generations in the group want to spend time in their liked ways, we loved our stay and highly recommended, forgot to mention parking would never be a problem at this property for multiple cars !

Located outside of Sedona which made it super quiet and made for spectacular stargazing! But close enough to everything you need to access. House was amazing, pool was perfect, it was more than i could have hoped for.

Great stay in a perfect location!

The house was clean and spacious. It was away from the busy uptown area and provided plenty of outdoor space to hang out. We had a wonderful stay overall. I would highly recommend this rental!

Family vacation

The house was in an ideal location. Helped us avoid all the traffic during peak season into the city. It’s a short distance to multiple hikes and grocery store is only 10 minutes away. Having two kitchens was very helpful to get food ready for multiple people at one time. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub. There is plenty of room for each person to sleep as there are multiple beds available.

The morning and evening are beautiful see hot air balloons every morning in the canyons night sky’s where clear don’t miss the only non colored Golden Arches in town we had a wonderful time and the house was a great location for the night sky’s it was peaceful and quite the kids loved the hot tub amd pool

Trip to the Canyons

My sisters and I needed a large home to accommodate our families for a trip to the canyons. Desert Rose Retreat was not only large enough for all 15 of us, but it was clean with plenty of supplies and activities thoughtfully provided. Our family appreciated having 2 different living areas that could be closed/accessed via an interior door to provide privacy to half the group when needed. We also liked that each area had a large dining table and kitchen with refrigerator, which was very helpful as we cooked many meals at the house. The hostesses were quick to respond to questions/concerns during our stay, and the booklet with house info and recommendations for dining and area attractions was nice too! We enjoyed our stay.

A very nice large home with plenty of space for your entire party to spread out and yet still come together and all to enjoy this house and property. We loved just being all together in a very peaceful neighborhood with a beautiful scenery to enjoy.

i planned my best friends bachlorette trip for her and 5 of her friends and we chose sedona to go for more of a retreat healing trip instead of party because our bride has been stressed! this home was the perfect place for 6 of us to fit WAY TOO COMFORTABLY this home is massive i couldn’t believe it! the property outside is beautiful as well and there is so much to do inside and outside! we will definitely be coming back here there’s no doubt.

Desert Rose Retreat spring break 2023

Tons of space for us all to spread out, 4 adults, 5 kids age 10-16. Great to have full kitchen for breakfast and lunch to save money. Close to hiking and mountain biking, nice to have hot tub to relax in afterwards. Perfect home base in Sedona!

Amazing weekend, even more amazing property.

The photos and description of the property are accurate however, echoing others' reviews, they somehow do not do the property justice. The space is expansive and set up very well to bring groups together (family, extended family, friend groups, etc.) especially if there are children or pets involved as it is very easy to section of portions of the house and keep the (happy) chaos secluded. The backyard is more or less fully fenced unless you have small pets like we did as there is a space or two where a small dog could sneak out. The hot tub was great to sit at night and relax after a day of hiking. And there is a nice little window to the red rocks from the deck/yard. The house is lovely, well equipped with the essentials, and felt very cozy (not like a plain rental, more like a welcoming home). Locations was great, too. Just off the main highway and about 12 minutes into town. Glad we arrived in daylight just to see the road/area before night as it is a smidge "off the beaten path" but a very easy home to find/access. Cannot wait to bring my friends and family back!

Amazing property and amenities

This place is HUGE. It’s really like 2 separate houses linked. 4 bedrooms in one ranch style home connected to a 2 story home with a large master on the second floor. 2 full kitchens and 2 full laundries. This made life much easier and convenient. All the appliances are high end, with everything you need or could ask for. Hot tub is very nice. Outdoor and indoor games are plentiful. Wi-Fi is a little weak if you are doing business work. Cell service ok but not strong enough for data retrieval. Make sure you have the lock code before arriving, as trying to load an email from a phone to get the code at the front door might be problematic. It’s an amazing property and once inside, you’ll be amazed at the detail and care. Pictures don’t do it justice, the place exceeds expectations.
