This is a perfectly comfortable older house in a nice quiet neighborhood. You can walk to several trails including the airport loop. The reason for only 4 stars is that someone went kinda crazy with the labelmaker and some of the (many) labels are less than welcoming. Like the one threatening to "fine" you 100 if you remove the tourist booklet that is marked on the back 12.95. Also as another guest noted, after they process your booking and take your payment, they send an additional set of policies - I'm fine with hosts setting policies, but I think they should be up front in the listing so guests can make an informed choice. For the amount of money I paid to rent this house, I'd like to feel welcome, not just tolerated.

This is a very nice home with three comfortable bedrooms and a cozy couch that can serve as an extra sleeping option if needed. The host provides a good selection of amenities, including detergent, dryer sheets, cooking essentials, dishes, cutlery, and towels. A Red Rocks parking pass is also included, which is a nice bonus. Just be sure to return it. The main TV is a Samsung, so navigating Tizen OS can take a bit of patience. The location is walkable, if you are on the south side of Sedona’s busy main road.The only drawbacks were related to the backyard amenities. The cornhole set was incomplete, with one bean bag missing and two others damaged, making it difficult to use. We also weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit for long, as the sprinkler system unexpectedly turned on in the evening. There was no mention of the sprinkler schedule in the welcome materials, posted notes, or online, and having it activated around 7 p.m. was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the hot tub felt basic as it didn’t maintain heat consistently, and the internal light went out while using it.Overall, it was a great stay, with just a few minor maintenance issues that, once addressed, would make it an exceptional stay.

Relaxing and peaceful stay in the main, just some house maintenance required

Peaceful and relaxing location and garden. Attractively decorated house as per the website. It was a shame there were some functional issues such as the hot water valve had 'tripped' out before we arrived and not been noticed or fixed, the dishwasher wasnt fixed to the cupboard housing so when the wiretray was pulled out the dishwasher fell forward. So you had to load the dishwasher without pulling the wire shelf out. The fridge doors didnt close as the fridge needs levelling so you had to push them closed and check the magnetic seal had caught each time.

Winter vacation

Happy trails was a great home base as we explored Sedona, wineries,hiking trails. Great to unwind in the hot tub at the end of a hiking day and relax, altho it would have been nice if temp was warmer than 99 degrees. The grill was wonderful for grilling meat and the outdoor table and chairs were used for meals. The beds were comfortable and kitchen had all necessary items needed for cooking.a washer and dryer were wonderful for washing the red rock dust from our jeans. Pink Jeep tours highly recommended. Totally enjoyed our time at happy trails home. Hope to return to this beautiful country in the future.

Weekend getaway

It is a nice home and location was prob the best thing about it. I didn't really enjoy the multiple labels all over the house and anxiety of being charged extra for every possible thing that might or could happen. 200 pet fee is just ridiculous for when suppose to be pet friendly and than after you make the reservation have a bunch of rules that the pet can't or can do. The master shower doors are a joke and don't operate correctly. Needs a serious remodel. Also be nice if you allowed the guests to use a garage opener. That was a real hassle. It was okay for what we needed but we wont be coming back.

Perfect Location in Sedona

Beautiful house with a great back yard for your dog and fantastic location! 10-15 minutes to downtown Sedona so close enough to great restaurants but far enough that you aren't dealing with all the tourist traffic that comes with staying downtown. Also, within walking distance to awesome pizza and wine place. Love it!!

Mon and Daughters Get Away

We loved the house and lication was good. The olny problems were the hot tub and Netflix. The hot tub stayed warm for about 10 mins then got to cool to stay in it as it was chilly outside. When trying Netflix we choose Sedona House like instructed then got the message that it was not available. These issues were annoying!

3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Easy access to downtown and main roads. Very comfortable stay. Loved having a sunroom, hot tub, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, grill, deck, beanbag Toss, hiking poles. Clean, comfortable, stocked with spices and coffee.

Thanksgiving hiking in Sedona

Great Sedona getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The West side location worked great for us! The house is clean and comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches; Red Rock pass, great guide books, doggie dishes and bags just to name a few. We would definitely recommend this house!

Great house!

We had a great stay in this house! Communication and ease of check in was great. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the rooms were decorated nicely. We brought our dog with us so we loved having the nice fenced in yard. The only complaint we had was trouble with the AC being able to keep up. The house has a note by the AC saying during hot months not to run the AC lower than 70 because you run the risk of the unit freezing up. We ran it around 72 to 73 all week and it froze up several times. The first full day we came home to it frozen up so we had to turn the AC off for a couple hours to let it thaw out. The reason I’m still giving five stars is because when we called about the AC they had someone out to service it and they brought us two large window units that we used all week. So they fixed the problem quickly but without those extra units it would have been a hot week! But we understand July in Sedona is hot. But we still had a great stay and loved how close this house was to everything! Thank you!
