We entered the property to discover it had not been cleaned from the last customers. We washed the towels and sheets ourselves. They couldn’t find cleaners. The reservations were made months in advance. I reserved the pictures. The online pictures make the place look gorgeous. But the place is worn out from 20 plus years of use. The pictures are obviously from days gone by. The furniture was horrible. It was worn out. It’s the same furniture from the pictures. Everybody seated is in an hole. The cushions hung over the edges every where. So you kept trying to push them back. You can’t. We reserve these places because we want to feel at home on vacation. The outside offers a beautiful deck. Views all the way around. But the out side furniture is sparse and the decks are dirty. It looked vacant. It smelled old and musty. It’s just so sad to have to witness the neglect. That’s been my experience with every property I have rented from VRBO. The properties are always old and worn out. Both inside and out. And if it isn’t what was advertised they don’t care. This location was so perfect for my family. The location is amazing. The views. Everything else. At least fix the door knobs. Fix the toilet paper holders. I’m just tired of paying for accommodations that I don’t ever receive. Start posting current pictures. And price accordingly.
