Fun and beautiful

Our book club stayed here in December 2024 for the weekend. We all wished that we stayed longer and will be returning in spring 2025. The only words of advise is to message the owner/host directly three days before you arrive. We had problems with receiving messages through VRBO causing us to arrive before the 4:00 p.m. check-in to confirm that the house even existed. In the end, all expectations were exceeded. Eden (owner/host) is the nicest person. She even decorated a christmas tree for us! The house is a bit drafty but warm enough in early December. Warmer months allow visitors to take advantage of all amenities on the property. There are more things to do on the property than we had time for. A full week would be great and you would still want to stay longer!

Horrible horrible horrible communication from this property owner. We booked this property three weeks in advance. ON THE DAY OF CHECK IN, the host sends me a message about a sewer issue and the property isn’t available. WE WERE PARKED OUT FRONT when I received their message! We drove 3 hours from the South Bay, wine tasted all day, and it was dark now- and we had no where to sleep... Worst part: This took place 5 days ago, and STILL NO REFUND. Horrible hosts and shame on Vrbo for not taking this more seriously.

Great Rustic Experience

KampCasa was really fun. The set up of the property with all the seating lounge and play areas is so awesome! We loved the room with the pool table and the record player, the trampoline, the swings, the hammocks, the big bathtubs and the hot tub. A few things to be aware of - it is a rustic experience. While beautiful there were several things on the property that seemed unfinished or in progress. The host said a pig party had just left before us that had done some damage - so hopefully all will be repaired soon, but there were cracked windows and glass in several places which concerned me because there was a young child in our party. Some of the lights didn't work and/or were hard to figure out. The back door where we had to enter kept sticking and it was hard to figure out which of the other doors were meant to be used and were safe. This property would REALLY benefit from a comprehensive guidebook explaining how the lights and various things on the property should be accessed and operated. We also did have a visit from some critters on the property so it really is an indoor outdoor experience per the ad - rustic! There was no toilet paper or garbage bags that we could locate on arrival and had to go get our own TP. The host was very concerned and helpful when we did finally reach her the next day. She sent a delivery and reimbursed us for purchases so that was great. She also let us use other areas like the yoga studio! Overall we had a wonderful time and would return.

Fun Property….BUT RENTER BE AWARE

KampKasa is definitely a unique place. There is a lot to do for kids and adults and the house is, overall, is pretty cool. HOWEVER, this house does have ALOT to improve on. In fact, i am not sure this house would pass code if inspected. First and foremost, there are creatures that visit inside the house despite any effort to keep them out. By creatures I mean RATS and mice. The creatures get in through the unattached barn doors in the kitchen and other holes of the house. We were very frequently met with a rat scurrying out of the pantry After a snack or across the floor. We also had no working oven the entire stay as well as the folks before us. There was little effort by the host to fix this and we had an entire chef night wasted due to this fact. Several other items in the property do not work as advertised: gas fire pits, arcade games, broken shower heads, several light fixtures, and broken mirrors and glass on doors and walls The house is also not easy to navigate due to lacking instructions for trash, towels, etc. during your stay. The checkout process is also very lacking as we only received checkout instructions after finally asking for them 1.5 hours before having to be out. They did not come to us proactively as with other stays. Overall, the host was quick to blame guest, or past guests, for issues rather than getting the issues fixed to satisfaction. I would not recommend this place unless you are really ok with nature, both in and out of the house.

Great location and unique vibe

The house was wonderful with great bedding and stocked kitchen and the entire family enjoyed the many outdoor entertainment areas and fun activities. Interested to see how this venue changes as you can tell there are plans for additional accommodations.

The perfect magical weekend getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kampcasa for my 32nd birthday celebration. We marveled at the amount of fun and different spaces! The Kampcasa main house is just gorgeously designed with all the creature comforts thought out and has a full commercial kitchen! We really loved all the different games in the backyard along with the record player room full of great records! The open air set up at Kampcasa allowed everyone to sprawl about and explore the spacious grounds at their own speed. We sat in the hot tub at night and enjoyed the grace of the shooting starts and the peace and quiet. We would absolutely love to stay here again, Kampcasa fans for life!! Thanks Eden for all your support and communication!
