"The Black Horse Inn is a cosy lodging and Susan, the manager is a funny and friendly host! We were there for four days and it’s a perfect spot to discover that beautiful area of Maine. "We loved this place! We were given an upgrade on our room, it was almost like our own little apartment. We had to leave before breakfast was served, so the owners made us breakfast to take with us, it was delicious! We would definitely stay there again. "

"Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures.
