  • Join friends and family for a memorable coastal getaway in this elegant holiday home in Seahouses. The impressive property, which sleeps up to eight guests, boasts high ceilings, large rooms, and a choice of indoor and outdoor areas for socialising. Set right in the heart of this vibrant fishing village, you’ll have direct access to a fantastic range of cafes, pubs, and restaurants, as well as the village’s famous fish and chip shops! If you fancy getting out on the water, head down to the harbour to join one of the boat trips to the Farne Islands, where you can spend the day looking for puffins and grey seals. A 2-mile walk along the sandy shoreline brings you to neighbouring Bamburgh, known for its magnificent, 1,400-year-old castle perched on the edge of the cliff. There are some fantastic day trips to enjoy from Seahouses, including to the wild and rugged Holy Island of Lindisfarne (20 miles) and the picturesque market town of Alnwick (15 miles). For keen walkers, the long-distance Northumberland Coast Path passes through Seahouses.


    Each area has been thoughtfully decorated with statement pieces of furniture, and beautiful artwork. High ceilings and original features also add style, particularly in the main living space. The open-plan lounge is bright and inviting, with a large bay window flooding the room with natural light and ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. Get cosy on the window seat or stretch out on the large sofa in front of the Smart TV and roaring wood burner. From here, head through to the fabulous kitchen/diner, with its beamed ceiling and bold colour scheme. Eat delicious feasts for the group in the stylish kitchen. Completing the ground floor is a utility room and shower room. Upstairs, discover three bedrooms, all with a coastal theme. Choose from a double bedroom with garden views, a second double, or a bunk bedroom with two sets of adult size bunk beds. A family bathroom rounds off the layout.


    French doors from the kitchen/diner open onto the enclosed patio garden. Here, you’ll find a large dining table for al fresco dining and a quirky beach hut-style bar which you can stock with all your favourite tipples. There’s also a handy outdoor storage area for surfboards, bikes, and outdoor gear. Private parking is available for 1 car on the driveway, with an additional permit provided for the nearby car park (from Easter to early September).
