Very nice rustic house with a wonderful ocean view from three rooms. Comfortable 1,683 sf 3/2 house. We enjoyed the stay and the area very much.

It was lovely.We never checked our phones over those 3 days and didn’t realize we were to strip the beds and start dishwasher. All dishes were washed. Sorry about the beds.

we had a very relaxing time. its an older home so some maintenance is needed and some TLC of the yard out front would do wonders, grass beginning to cover address number, but overall we liked the beachy rustic feel of the home. Wonderful views and closeness to the bluff walking trail.

Absolutely lovely stay here

Stayed with friends here for a short, catch up visit. Plenty of room for all of us. Plenty of dishes, glassware, flatware, basic spices, and other kitchen supplies. Everything worked as expected, hot tub was clean and comfy. Would be helpful to update the listing to include the bbq. Also, having to go to Gualala for parking passes was a bit of a hassle when we wanted to relax and enjoy the view. Will definitely stay here again.

Classic Beauty

This beautifully-aged classic house must be one of the originals. It has definitely stood the test of time, and has been well-maintained and restored over the years. The view out over the ocean from the open-beamed living room, while enjoying a glass of wine in front of a gently crackling fire, evokes the spirit of the best of Sea Ranch. The house comes very well stocked, especially the kitchen, where a good cook can feel right at home. Truly a delightful place to spend a few relaxing days.

Cozy and clean spot in beautiful Sea Ranch

The house was exactly as described and very clean! My only complaint is that Vacasa required us to drive to a second location about 15 minutes north to retrieve guest passes/permits for parking and accessing Sea Ranch amenities.

Rainy family retreat

Very cozy place with a lovely corner window for staring at the ocean through the rain! Nothing better than going for a wet walk, avoiding the mini waterfalls, followed by a relaxing soak in the private jacuzzi!! Perfect for our family of five. Kitchen well stocked but these places rarely have foil or Saran so bring your own.

Perfect old-style Sea Ranch vacation

One of the original Sea Ranch houses. Aging a bit, but just a charming place and fully equipped for cooking and living. Easy stroll to beach and lodge. Highest marks.

Peaceful stay

This property appears to be one of the first groups built. The setting was quite and peaceful.. ocean sunset off the back deck was amazing, with a close short walk to the incredible Bluff trail. The only issue I have is this place is in need of a serious deep cleaning, I had to sweep the floors myself because of cookies and crackers everywhere. I would also mention the house and furniture are a bit dated for sure, I guess to be expected for an older property. Overall a pleasant stay for a few days.

Wonderful Place!

The home is clean and lovely with an INCREDIBLE view of the ocean. The woodwork and the sunshine streaming through the windows make the home feel extra warm and comfy. It's really very close to the beach and trails. We would definitely love to return.

uniquely beautiful

Some of the things we loved about this home include warm wood throughout, high ceilinged living room with meadow to ocean view and wonderful ocean sounds when the window or deck door was open, unique stone fireplace, extremely comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, and colorful enclosed garden. We loved being in one of the older homes with that creative, woodsy early Sea Ranch esthetic in evidence everywhere. Would love to come back.

The Meyer House

This property worked perfectly for our group. There were 3 of us and each person wanted/got a separate bedroom. We thought the layout of the house was excellent, and it was nice to have a fireplace with firewood supplied. The location is close to the bluff trail, and right from the house we could see more of the surf than we expected. The location would be even better if the Lodge were open because it would have been nice to have easy access to the bar, restaurant and shop. Also, had the weather been warmer, we might have taken advantage of the Rec Center, but not this visit. At the house itself, the forced air furnace was a boon and much more effective than radiant heat. The kitchen could use a couple better skillets, but apart from that it was well-equipped. All-in-all, a very pleasant Christmas location!! Excellent weather helped!

Perfection

The location of the home is perfect! A few minutes walk to the beach, hiking trails and the rec center with pool is steps away. The home had everything we needed plus a fantastic ocean view. The stars under the hot tub were amazing relaxation after the kids fell asleep. Home was very kid friendly too! I enjoyed the books throughout the home and loved everything about our stay. From sitting on the porch whale watching in the morning to star gazing at night in the hot tub and all of the adventure in between...perfection!

Cozy space with lovely light, charming interior, and all the right amenities.

Loved our stay at this Sea ranch home. The hot tub and fire place were great things to have and the layout of the home was much appreciated. Courtyard was pretty lovely and we were close to black sand beach. Would love to stay there again.
