Comfortable and cozy

This house is great for families: has a really well supplied kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. Plenty of space to spread out. There are 4 bedrooms. The 2 upstairs are lofts so noise can travel. Great family room for watching movies, and ping pong & foosball in the garage.

Beautiful views and lots of wildlife!

We had a fantastic time! Enjoyed the spacious living room area for sitting and catching up with family. Great kitchen for preparing meals. Spectacular views out of every window. Wildlife and natural beauty everywhere you look. Would stay here again!

Beautiful Cadwalader Home

this is a gorgeous, large property with a full view of the ocean and only one house, which is hidden by high bushes, next door: so all open space looking out to the ocean and to the south and southeast. The ocean view kitchen/family room, dining room are roomy and comfortable, and the large den/tv room at the other end of the home offers another space for people, so 6-8 people can really spread out. All beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen has literally everything you need, including a large pantry of spices, sugar, flour, coffee filters, baking and cooking utensils. The hot tub is large and very clean with an unobstructed view of the ocean. There is an enclosed, lovely garden filled with flowers where one can read and soak up the sunshine and peacefulness. We saw lots of birds, a couple of big rabbits, deer and a fox out in the beautiful field off the large deck. There is a path right off the deck that connects to the trail down to Shell Beach, about 6-10 minute walk, where we saw mother seals with their pups. With 4 bedrooms, large kitchen/family room, dining room, den/tv room, 3 bathrooms, extensive deck and hot tub, Cadwalader House is quite expensive, but well worth it for a large family vacation, and I know we will come back again.

Picture perfect

We absolutely loved the home, the location, everything. The rooms were comfortable, and the photos were very accurate. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed to cook our meals. And we were very lucky that the weather was perfect, so we were able to take advantage of the great walking path down to the beach. I would definitely recommend this house to a group.

Another Great Sea Ranch Trip!

This house is really great. We have stayed in Sea Ranch for Labor Day for 3 years now and this was by far the best house. Clean, fully stocked, and our favorite feature - the 2 living rooms to allow the adults and kids to hang out separately. The location is very proximal to the beach and the view fantastic. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog. Our only feedback is that the checkout time of 10:00 feels very early when trying to pack up from a beach vacation - especially with teenagers! We also did not appreciate the hidden host fees - pet, hot tub, resort, etc. That should really just be included in the price vs. added on after.

Fabulous Family Getaway

The house was spacious, kitchen fantastic, close walk to beaches, access to 3 recreation centers with swimming pools, tennis, pickleball and one rec center with sauna! We enjoyed the large jacuzzi located on one of two large decks, not to mention the ping pong table in garage and flying kites from the large decks. We were just minutes away from Gualala where we visited the art museum located in a beautiful grove of redwoods. The house is a wonderful place to enjoy the great outdoors, have family meals and just hang out. The second living room was filled with games galore and loads of books. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy your terrific home, a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Great location. Comfortable home, nice kitchen, great tub and deck. 5 min walk to the beach. Home interior well loved, could use some newer couches, mattresses, lights with switches that worked. That said, we would definitely rent again.

lovely family reunion

Beautiful spot in the universe. Gorgeous views and fully equipped home. Great for families, our ranged from 1 year to 75 years. We happened to be there when seals were birthing and the weather was perfect.. the home was clean and well furnished and our only suggestions are 2 real chairs for the dining table ( rattan ones are breaking and too low for the table) and a note about location of plates that we didnt find easily,. The hot tub was marvelous and we had beautiful trail walks and enjoyed your home and our time there immenseley.

Serene getaway home.

This home is very nice and spacious. It is well equipped with kitchen goods, games, music and books. Beds are very comfy! Only concern was deck surrounding the hot tub needs some attention. Nails are protruding and several of us got splinters from the very dry wood. Needs replacing or sanding and staining. Loved that home comes with multiple beach towels for hot tub use. Front garden is lovely. Location can’t be beat. It’s a short walk to the beach and located on a quiet cul de sac. Will definitely rent again!

We had a great time. The home is spacious, well-appointed, and an even nicer experience than we imagined. The decks and hot tub were delightful with ocean views. Lovely retreat.

My only complaint about the home is that while it is a four bedroom, the upstairs bedrooms have shutters that open to the common spaces. Therefore, if anyone is in the kitchen or family room, the sound carries to the upstairs, and wakes up people who might want to be sleeping. Not a deal breaker, but it was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, the home was a wonderful as it stated in the listing.

Incredible family rental!

This is an incredible rental for a family with multiple aged children. The home was filled with games and activities for all ages! The garage even had a ping pong table, foosball table, and sand toys for the beach! We loved our stay! Also, the location is absolutely ideal for a short walk to shell beach.

Perfect little trip

The house was everything the listing said it would be and we had no issues. The kitchen was the best in terms of design as well as supplies I've ever encountered in a vacation home! And this is a small detail but it was SO NICE that everything was labeled! The light switches, the drawers, it was so easy to find everything. The hot tub was perfect and the beach was 6 minutes walk down the path. Would definitely stay here again!

Just Perfect!

Great location and well appointed house. Many amenities that make the trip all that much better. Extremely well stocked library and board game collections. Kitchen doesn't leave you wanting of anything. Ocean views from bedrooms and hot tub. Lots of space and different areas to either spend time with others or quite time alone. We loved our stay. First time for us to Sea Ranch. We feel lucky to have stayed here and hope to return again soon!
