"Lovely stay in a well equipped pod. We enjoyed our stay - except for the bed, which had a lumpy and too soft mattress."

"The Skipton Hotel was well appointed for a short towpath walk to Skipton centre. It had a lovely view, staff were generally helpful, and breakfast was fine. Our room though (a studio on floor 5) was baking hot and when we complained about this we got given an extra fan. It wasn't just that the weather was hot (it was) but the generators and other plant equipment sent heat through the floor into the room making it sauna like. We feel we should have asked to be moved but didn't want to complain...

"Hotel receptionist didn’t offer any information about the hotel - it had to be asked and although she was polite it wasn’t a warm welcome The hotel room was great but looking a little dated, plus some of the bedroom furniture needs refreshing. The same for the TVs which were particularly small for the size of room. However excellent carpets, bed, towels and view plus exceptionally reasonable price. The restaurant was excellent with good service, hot food and a warm welcome."
